Can Chests slowly begin to upgrade their difficulty/rarity as time progresses in overland zones?

Kinda annoying to see a zone full of simple chests, likely given people didn't want to bother with the paltry contents and inventory garbage.

Perhaps to prevent people from malding about someone taking an advanced chest over letting it sit, it's only a chance that an advanced chest will tick over to master?

    TBH I don’t actually know how the chests work in overland zones.

    I just assumed it would be a static chance at “rarity”.

    Working kinda like the Psijiic portals: if no one harvests runestone nodes, it’s possible that no new portals spawn.

    If no one lockpicks simple chests, then they take precedence.

    Treasure chest respawn have the rng factor associated, keep that always in mind.

    Yeah but I’m not going to waste my time on that. The next sap can.

    And ironically this means that if “treasure chests”/loot stashes are a part of a living world, then the person who stashed that stuff might then stash more stuff there as if hasn’t been pilfered.
