Golden Pursuits - Pinning task does not work

I notice that pinning a Golden Pursuit task does nothing. At least not on PS5. It only shows it as pinned in the list of tasks, but I thought it was supposed to also show the pinned task on the main screen in the top right corner (above or below the tracked quest). Is this a bug or am I mistaken in what pinning is supposed to do?

Yes, there is a little pin next to the item in the Golden Pursuits list, but the item does not get added to the quest tracker.
