Start 8v8 BG when there is only 7v7

No reason to cancel the entire BG and kick everyone back out to queue if there are only 7v7 players.

Also I'd argue 8v7 is fine too. One less player isn't worth ending the entire BG early.

    Honestly, I also don't understand why 15 players should wait 5 minutes for 1 player to start the match.
    Previous 4v4v4 BGs always started even if the teams were 4v4v2.
    I understand the point of waiting in a competitive 4v4 mode. But 8v8 mode was originally called casual by the developers, there is no sense to ruin the game experience of 15 players because of a bug with the queue.

    @ZOS_Kevin @ZOS_JessicaFolsom Changing the 8v8 mode start conditions to conditions similar to the previous 4v4v4 mode would really help all players.

    I also want to add some important information in my opinion. I have noticed that if a player leaves the team during a match, the replacement for that player with a new player happens very quickly, sometimes even instantly. Perhaps the algorithms of the queue before the start of the match and after the start are different. In this case 5 minutes waiting for players to start a match is harmful at all.

    How will I do my house work if the bg start straight away? Instead of waiting 9 mins for a game, then 4 mins for it to start, then 45s wait. I'll just be waiting 9 mins in que and 45s wait.
    This recent update has made me sad. Sad for the game. Sad for the community. Sad to pay whatever it is now. I want the previous eso back.

    Please. I used to play BGs all the time, now I’m kinda scared to Q up for BGs with the 1-2hrs I play because I get kicked out most games.

    It sounds like there was an issue where if someone declined queues, it wouldn't fill. I've since had more of my 7-person lobbies fill after a few minutes, so it's improved a lot. I don't mind waiting for 8 people if that part of the queue works well enough.

    This is a great suggestion. For both 8 v 8 and 4 v 4, as long as there are equal numbers in both teams that are > 1, the game should start. For 8 v 8, starting with 1 person difference is likely viable if the lower number team has at least, say 5 people, with the hope that one joins soon.

    I would much rather they transport the already working dungeon finder logic into BGs. It works like this:

    - Players queue up for BGs
    - Match making discovers enough players that match the lobby size and MMR to create an instance
    - Ready checks go out
    - Players have 1min to confirm that they're ready
    - If everyone confirms, the instance is created, everyone gets ported, match can start in under 1min
    - If one person misses the confirmation because they're afk or otherwise changed their mind, the rest of the players are put back in the queue and they're able to keep doing whatever they were doing while waiting for the BG

    The current queuing logic is killing the group queue! No one wants to queue up anymore because of this new waiting purgatory that players get held hostage in for 5min at a time, hoping and praying that 1 player will have randomly queued as a solo into the group queue.

    It should have been fixed after the first two weeks of this being reported. Absolutely absurd logic.
