NCR trial as one-bar player?

Hello,
I read there is a mechanic which requires the player to swap skill bars. How does it work with oakensould ring users? It it even recommended to do that trial if I have a one-bar build?

✭It doesn't work and since you cannot swap bars you end up wiping the group (in Vet for sure). Same thing applies for players under level 15 since they have not unlocked the 2nd bar yet.0 -

To add to this, if someone dies with Voltaic overload active it jumps to someone else for the rest of it’s duration. This jump does NOT take oakensoul/werewolf into consideration.

✭✭✭You can do the mechanic by "sheathing" your staff. It does not work all the time, because its Cloudrest and lag and glitches are just how Cloudrest works. But @Soarora highlighted the bigger problem: running 1-bar builds increases the chances of the tank being hit with overload which is very bad for the group.
Long story short: Don't run a 1-bar build in Cloudrest4 -

✭✭✭✭✭if only 1 or 2 players are running 1 bar, i think thats doable, but as others suggest, its generally a good idea to avoid oakensoul
you can still run a heavy attack build without oakensoul, and just have basically the same skills on both bars, and then source empowerplays PC/NA

i have my main house (grand topal hideaway) listed in the housing tours, it has multiple target dummies, scribing altar, and grandmaster stations (fully filled out with current game), as well as almost every antiquity furnishing on display to preview them
in progress: acquiring mundus stones (currently only have the thief)

✭For just relequen fight only (unless +zmaja), have 2 identical skill setups on both bars and slot Degeneration. Casting it will give you Empower from the Mages Guild passive. Major Sorcery/Brutality and Prophecy/Savagery source using the potion. Minor Berserk will be provided by healers' Combat Prayer, Minor Heroism most likely will be from someone's Banner Bearer or other scribing skill. Major Resolve will be provided by Warden supports, Minor Courage from Arcanists or tanks. Only things you will be missing are minor protection, minor aegis, minor slayer, minor force and minor resource regen buffs so overall damage loss will be rather minimal unless the buff uptime is abysmal.0
