Question on the impact of Health/Stam/Magic points

Looking for some info on the impact of the 3 stats in real terms on skills... prior to yet another respec to try and get my NB thru VR...

So for example if I have 10 points in stam today and do 100 damage with an stamina based ability and respecced to put all 49 in stam what sort of damage would I now expect from the same ability... 110? 139? 500?

Currently my build is health heavy and even with that and some heavy armour I'm not outdamaging mobs of 3 or more after the initial burst (when the abilities fire), so I am toying with dumping a bunch of health and speccing for harder hits.. if that is viable...

I have googled for this and not found much so by all means link me if you have a page.

You will get more stamina/magicka from gear than you will from putting attribute points into them. That's why most people at VR are going full health and using gear to make up the difference.

I dumped all my points in health and filled stam/magicka with gear like nerevarine said.

Pretty easy to hit overcharge with the right gear so it would have been a waste of points.

So basically high as possible gear with best possible quality stam/magicka runes?

@nerevarine1138 - Gotta ask... Lucas fan (the 1138)?

In the end maxing Health or one of the other skills doesn't have a huge effect.
From what I have seen you get 50% health points for each stat point of health you also get ~50% more health points on armor enchants compared to stamina and magicka enchant. It comes down to how you want or need to balance your stat point and enchant slots budget at the moment. I always want my magicka and magicka regen caped so I put a portion of my points into it.

Min maxing may be also forced by choosing to use dropped sets. There isn't much need to put any points on stamina or magicka when you have 5 pieces with that stat forced upon you.

    Edit.
So armor enchants at rank +6 give 70 to m/s and 105 to health.

So the relative value of a point remains the same when you look at stat points and enchants. So most of the time it just doesn't matter.

That's why I put all my points in Magika on my sorc and templar, then I have my primary stat covered and don't have to worry about wearing gear to make up the difference in my primary stat. If I happen to get a nice piece of Magika gear, I throw it on and welcome the overcharge as bonus points.

I don't mind that overcharge either since 1 point in magick for my build is probably more valuable than 5 in stamina.

For those that are really concerned by losing stats in the cap the best solution is probably to adjust the stat points accordingly since they give you much finer control close to the cap compared using an enchant.

So the message is that taking all my points out of health and dropping them into stamina is not going to increase my weapons damage in a significant way?

Or at least nothing I can't match by doing full on armour enchanting in stamina?

You can reach your stamina cap any way you want. Stat points , enchants , potions. The decision is up to you. How you balance your resources around your build is more important.

Lots of useful info but no-one seems to have numbers on what an extra attribute point spent in stamina might or might not gain in weapon damage or stamina count.

    1 point in stamina/magicka gives 10 points stamina/magicka.
1 point in health gives 15 points of health.
As for weapon damage I don't even know if stamina has an effect. Stamina food does nothing to it. The effect on skill damage probably depends on the skill.

    Destro/resto staff skill damage = [(Magika/20) + (weapon damage/1.9)] * Skill coefficent

    Other weapons skill damage = [(Stamina/20) + (Weapon damage/1.9)] * Skill coefficent

NOTE : This is just the heavy and light attacks, not any 'skill' attack.
Skill attacks are worked out different

Class, mage guild, undaunted, AvA support, Soul magic and vampire skill damage = [(Magika/20) + Spelllpower] * Skill coefficent

Fighter guild, Werewolf and AvA assault skill damage = [(Stamina/20) + Spellpower] * Skill coefficent

But some of that in old information but it gave a 'general' rule of the damage

Have a read here for the more detailed math review
