[Question] Crafting mats ??

Hello im crafting a lot and buy many mats from others players and from about 2 weeks now, price of mats have dropped pretty bad that's cool but what i noticed is some players managed to get so many (rare) mats its hard to think they acquired them legitimately .?

My question is do im risking something buying lets say 50 alloys from someone that have 200 ? or buying 100 turpen from someone that have 450 of them >? with the dup bug and all ?

I think the dup bugs have been fixed, but some people still have piles of upgrade mats... I would think it should be "safe" to buy them now as the major exploiters have presumably already been punished. On a side note I really kindof wish I had piles like that, hehe. I am lvl 22 I don't upgrade anything yet, I have around 75 honing stones, 25 dwarven oil, 3 of the purple one, and only 1 tempering alloy so far. I was saving them up for level 50.

I've gained a lot from refining ore I try to do a good run collecting as much ore as I can the refine it. The Eight have been nice to me.

Some most certainly are ill gotten gains while others are not. You will not be punished for buying though.

I have saved all mine from the start and am currently vr5 I have about 300 of each green, 100 of each blue, 25-50 of each purple, and 10-20 of each gold. i would say this would be fairly normal for anyone that saves and invests in hirelings, of course there would be people with much more and much less at the same point in the game.

Takes a while to save it all up, but that legendary vr12 gear with full sets and legendary enchants is going to be awesome though.

For a while it was so easy to get them through refining materials that I was having to clear my bank out evry weekend. About 2 weeks ago they shadow nerfed that. The only reliable source now is hirelings, which is also being fixed. Once the current items in circulation gets used, and the hirelings get fixed, prices are going to go back up.

Its not unheard of to have a lot of rare materials. Now, if they had 500 of the legendary materials that they are selling for half the market value, then yeah, id report them for suspicion of duping. A lot of the dupers saved the materials instead of vendoring them, to resell later and avoid calling attention to themselves.
