Ok there is probably a thread for feedback on the skill styles somewhere so if there is please let me know!
Anyway I love the new arcanist blue color!!! But if you have the blue color on an ability that generates crux, does the crux then turn blue or does it stay green? Is blue crux even a possibility in the future so it can match with the abilities?

Taril✭✭✭✭✭Crux will stay green.
As for the possibility... I guess it could be technically possible. It might have to be one of those Collectable rewards like the Slate-Gray Bear used to be since Crux isn't a skill to receive a skill style.3 -

✭Kind of weird it doesn’t, in the future you’d be able to have three different colored crux, making it even easier to keep track of your skills if it was possible.

WarGnome✭I’m mostly just looking for consistency in my color scheme. But it would be an interesting way to keep your rotation up if you had each skill a different color , then a different color crux that corresponds!2

Icy_Waffles✭✭✭✭✭I reeeeeally wish they had just simply at least had one color with the entire skill line. This is turning into rainbow scrolls online and I’m all for color and splash but personally I really like the idea of getting to customize skills but I also like themes lol1 -

Why I think it should've been purple. I can think of at least 4 arcanist skill morphs that include purple.PC/NA Dungeoneer (Tank/DPS/Heal), Trialist (DPS/Tank/Heal), and amateur Battlegrounder (DPS) with a passion for The Elder Scrolls lore- CP 2000+
- Warden Healer - Arcanist Healer - Warden Brittleden - Stamarc - Sorc Tank - Necro Tank - Templar Tank - Arcanist Tank
- Trials: 9/12 HMs - 3/8 Tris
- Dungeons: 30/30 HMs - 24/24 Tris

Which is probably why it isn't purple.
These initial recolours seem to be designed to be as different as possible from the base colours. For example, DK gets Blue instead of the Green which would have allowed them to continue the theming that their Stam (Posion) morphs provide.
Having a significant contrast for the initial examples of the system provide people with more excitement than something more congruent with what the base skills provide.1 -
WarGnome✭Purple would have been fun. But it is the Arcanists secondary color. I agree with Taril, they probably wanted to go with a contrast. Honestly I’m just glad they didn’t go straight into red with Arcanist. I don’t need to look like Christmas threw up all over me0

The blue does look better, especially for your dro-mathra theme. I do like the rune blades being a darker blue than the beam, it looks really good!

NeoniKa✭✭✭✭I was really happy to see an alternative color for the arcanist effects. That's without any doubt the class that really needs alternative colors so we can reduce all that green. But then I got very disappointed when I saw that it still generates green crux, so, I restored it back to the original color. It doesn't make sense to me to use the Involving Runemend in blue to still generate the green crux.
Anyway... I'm still not very enthusiastic about all the new colors we're getting. What I'd really love to get are more white, black or transparent styles. And I would pay a lot for a pack of invisible styles for all classes.
That would be a dream come true.

I’m with you on this one. Other player skills aren’t as recognizable with skill styles and that is detrimental (in my opinion) in PvP.

I’m with you on this one. Other player skills aren’t as recognizable with skill styles and that is detrimental (in my opinion) in PvP.
