BG lobbies are still *not fixed*

This is what I'm talking about when I say that BGs are fundamentally broken.
There's 3 total things wrong with this image:
1. The fact this this lobby was created and allowed us to join despite the 4th team member not taking the queue, holding 6 players hostage for 5 minutes for absolutely nothing.
2. (Not pictured) My wife was actually our 4th but was dropped by the server ~10 seconds after she loaded in, giving her a 15min deserter penalty. This never happens, but it happened tonight.
3. That the 6 players left in the match weren't even given the option for the BG to start, despite the teams being fairly numbered.
This was our first match of the night. Tonight I had to work late and we literally just got home and logged on. We'll only get an hour of playtime tonight and right off the bat 20min of it is gone because our lobby wouldn't start and because the server dropped my wife and she was given a deserter penalty.
Is this an experience that you think ZOS should be proud of? Is this experience something you think is deserving of a hotfix? If it's not, I'd really appreciate ZOS respecting mine and my wife's (and all other BG player's) time enough to tell us directly whether or not this will get corrected before U45. This is gambling our time and I'm really getting tired of it.

✭✭✭I've tried to do BGs 5 times tonight. Every time I've been dropped from the server less than 5 minutes in. Absolutely ridiculous when they locked one of the Golden Pursuits style pages behind behind able to complete a BG.3 -
Chrisilis✭✭It took three hours last night to play 5 BG's. 20 minutes in the que, 5 minutes in the spawn and the reward for that 25 minute wait was a 5 minute match where my team either got trounced or annihilated the other team. Twice during that period I made it to an actual map and after the clock ticked down was bounced for not enough players. Used to be able to play matches back to back to back w/out issue in a fluid and efficient que. If a team was short a player, well, so be it, work harder. This new format is so disappointing, I miss classic bg's more than ever. If the good battlegrounds arent reinstated soon and if these problems persist on these new dumbed down bg's (sorry for that description but its how I truly feel) I guess it'll be time to give up and find something else to play.1

Just do solo 8vs8 and the queue will pop within a minute and you have those 1 or 5 pursuits in notime.
Since the introduction of solo queue my queue times have been the shortest they have ever been because the influx of players due to popularity of the solo queue.Edited by licenturion on December 5, 2024 1:29PM0 -

Not to add insult to injury but it seems they also reset mmr recently. Any 4v4, and I mean literally any 4v4 where this occurs is an absolute cringe-fest. So I now have to run each of my toons through this gauntlet of cringe for God knows how many bgs just to get back to the point where they are slightly less terrible. My patience is also running thin. I did two bgs last night, one on each of two toons, and gave up after about two hours of waiting... waiting for players i mean, and cringe.
I am really trying my best to not be negative because I know there are a lot of real people at zos who care about their jobs and love this game. I am posting this response because I love this game and i am hoping something positive changes and not to just complain.
Please do everything you can to minimize the number of times you reset mmr.Edited by Thumbless_Bot on December 5, 2024 1:51PM1
