i usually just do the bare minimum to get tickets most events because the event boxes are not worth the time farming

the only event really worth doing extra farming is probably the witches festival because there is a lot of decent stuff in those boxes

most of the style pages can be bought so theres not necessarily a ton of things worth spending tickets on either

and yes its 100% optional to participate, if you feel the FOMO and the absolute need to have all of the stuff from the event, thats a "you" problem then

i have my main house (grand topal hideaway) listed in the housing tours, it has multiple target dummies, scribing altar, and grandmaster stations (in progress being filled out), as well as almost every antiquity furnishing on display to preview them

feel free to stop by and use the facilities

Once I got my third key and 11 tickets I stopped doing the event quests.
All I really want are the 5 keys.

    Same.

In addition to my third key I wanted the statuette so I got that and then built up 11 keys to take to New Life. 🎅🏼

I still don’t know what I’m going to do with the new house though, any interesting ideas?

I forgot about the statue and spent 5 tickets on a pet fragment, so now I won't have enough to buy the statue by the end of the event unless I buy 4 tickets on each server. Fortunately, I don't actually care that much about the statue, so I'll just pass on it and hope that maybe it comes back in the future-- and if it doesn't (as seems likely), then no biggie.

I'm breathing a sigh of relief that the event ends tomorrow morning, but it isn't due to event fatigue per se-- I'm just struggling with inventory management. Events nearly always add more stuff to my inventory, and I end up trying to juggle things around between characters and spending a lot of time doing treasure maps and master writs to reclaim space. (Yes, I'm a hoarder.)

I don't have event burnout because of FOMO. I don't care about or want most of the things they offer and rarely participate at all.

I have event burnout because the constant non-stop back-to-back events greatly diminish how special events used to feel and make them feel like a nuisance now rather than something fun to look forward to.

You are not alone. It's hard to "Adventure" when you're on a hamster wheel to grab loot constantly.

Yes, the treasure maps. I am trying to save the ones from the newer zones for that event next year where there are supposed to be double lead drops. I will be hurting by New Life Festival, I am afraid.

Not me. I am very picky with what cosmetics / mounts etc I actually want or like. As such, I will skip events that do not have things I want and know I will use.
I make an exception for Witches Festival because I love the vibes, but I will skip an event if it doesn't have an outfit style or something that makes me go "wow, that'd go cool with my character!"

Events are an optional thing for me to do if there are rewards that I can make use of.
I see no value in doing all events and trying to get all the collectibles, as I have no need for most of them and it is impossible to be a completionist in this game.
Struggling to find a new class to call home. Please send help.

You are not alone. It's hard to "Adventure" when you're on a hamster wheel to grab loot constantly.

But no one forces a hamster to run around inside a hamster wheel. It gets in and runs when it wants to, and stops running and gets out when it wants to. Players are no different in that respect.

I used to love events. I have huge burnout now, but its not from the events. It's from ZoS' lack of meaningful communication and disregard of player feedback.

Kevin can only do so much. And while he is amazing, he cant often tell us anything truly meaningful.

No I dont feel Event burnout because if I dont want to participate in an Event I just dont participate in it and dont care much that I miss out on a few stuff.
