Assassin's Blade morph locked in stone

So, I have several Nightblade characters both before the Assassin's Blade (patch) change and after.
The ones that came after have no problem swaping out the morph as they acquired it through the normal leveling progression.
The ones who had impale/killer blade before the change have the morph locked in well past the assassination level required to morph the ability and still the lock remains. There is no way presently to change the morph.
Has anyone found a solution for this? And yes, I have submitted bug reports about this.
