There are many guild-less players; perhaps some are wishing for the same things from a guild.

I've joined just about every guild there is. They are very similar and I now know why....people are what makes a guild and our eso community is very similar across the board. I'm delusional wanting a new guild....nothing new under the sun.

i do wish it had slightly better search tools in there, but the in game finder is still going to be much easier to use and have much more results than postings on the forums, as whats in game is real time, a post on the forums could be out of date in 6 months (or less if its a new guild that never takes off)
