A HUG Option for Companions?

Without going in to too much detail or spilling any beans on specifics or contexts;
If we're never going to see a romance option for a companion (And i have to ask why the hell not) Can we at least get a dialog option to offer them a damn hug?
I won't say in what situation or which companions, but there are some moments in their quests where they do or say something that is a very character defining/pivotal/emotionally vested moment (Both Happy or sad) - instead of being the friend we're supposed to be for our companion, The only response to them spilling their hearts out before us is basically "Mhm, Mhm, Yup, Hmhm, So what was that thing you said a moment ago?" And it's just so damn irksome and frustrating.

Heren✭✭✭I was quite amazed by the animation of the two bosmers wanting to get married in Bosmer town ( sorry forgot the name, Valshabah something ? ) in West Weald, when they hug each other at the end of the quest. It would be indeed nice to have some more interactions with companions.2 -

this would also be an amazing memento, definitely in favor of the latter as consent is key!
A lot of players definitely need a hug sometimes
