I tried to give this a chance but the lack of rewards for enduring the boring waves of mobs just irritated the crap out of me. Opening up chests to get some overland gear that I could easily farm if I wanted to or that I already have is not worth the effort in the archive AT ALL. It should at least be loaded up with fortunes (edit: every chest should drop a piece of a class set). The fact that completing a bonus area in the unknown portals doesn't guarantee a lead drop adds insult to injury. So it basically stacks RNG on top of RNG. I have a life to live and I can't afford to sit on my butt for endless hours cutting down waves of boring mobs only to get screwed by RNG.

Do you know there is 2 npc vendors in IA?

There if you dont want rng you can buy Style pages, Class sets, leads etc.

Playing Arc 1 and 2 with daily quest gives you around 5000 Archival Fortunes.

Yeah and I have to grind for my leads still with RNG on top of RNG. There's no guarantee the lead I want is in the vendor too btw. Maybe that's fun for you but it's not for me.

Edit: I spent all day and must've grinded 24k fortunes. Was able to buy two style pages. Unfortunately I got the weapons, not the armor styles. Didn't get anymore torc leads. What a monotonous pain in the butt.

Actually there's 3 vendors, ones just off to the far side of the room and sells random leads, parts, furnishings, nap, ect

The other two sell gear, furnishings, gold, usual stuff

PLEASE increase the amount of Fortunes gained. Either that or reduce the prices of the style pages. It's INSANE right now. I HATE this grind. It's not fun at all. And where are the Torc leads at?????

Yeah IA is a boring time sink with poor rewards. I only do it as a last resort when there are no better endeavors for me.

And I always feel it is a waste of time and I never do more than the first arc. And pass on the side games which are more boring and annoying than IA itself.

I was 30% excited when I thought it would be fight a bunch of adds up to boss fight, but instead I got six waves of adds and two minis then boss. Why not put three bosses, all from same dungeon, in same run and require all to be killed in same run to clear the arc?

I haven't been and IA fan myself. I haven't also seen the rewards. I just found out today what I needed to do to get the furnishing, Infinite Archive Index, Replica. Defeat 100 enemies just in the first arc? So I guess, I'll just have to grind that little part over and over? And then to have to buy it for 25,000 Archival Fortunes.
