Gamepad UI change?

I have noticed a couple of recent changes to the gamepad ui, but one that is extra annoying is that when scrolling through inventory and going to equipped items (weapons, apparel, accessories) you can no longer see what you have equipped by highlighting a certain piece. You now have to click on the item category (for instance “main hand”) then scroll through all the weapons in your inventory to find the one equipped, see if it needs charging, etc. Is this a new feature that is intended? I don’t see anything in the settings to revert this.

✭✭I use the gamepad UI on PC and don't have this problem. I can see what's equipped and whether it needs charging just by highlighting the slot (Main Hand, Ring, etc.).1 -

That’s how it has always been. Not sure why this has changed for me. Also, the ui background is transparent now, where it didn’t used to be. Strange. I’m not running any ui addons, but maybe a different addon is effecting it. Maybe the new hdr settings. I don’t know. If anyone has encountered this and knows a fix please let me know. Thanks.0 -

I don't use addons.
Try disabling all your addons and see if it fixes the problem. If it does, re-enable your addons one by one until the problem comes back. The one you enabled last will be the culprit.
If disabling all your addons doesn't fix the problem then at least you'll know it's not the addons.1 -
carlos424✭✭✭✭✭Ok, I found the problem. The new addon ScriptTracker has an “Enable gamepad tooltip (beta) (needs reload)” toggle, that needs to be turned OFF. The addon seems to work fine without this being ON, even while using a controller. You just have to keybind it to a key on your keyboard in order to toggle it on/off. Incidentally, is there any way to track known/unknown scripts on characters without an addon? If not, this seems to be a big oversight.0
