have only the mystic siphon morph of the necromancer shocking siphon ability tether it an enemy instead of staying stationary on the ground
making it far more useful in pvp and for ec uptimes and giving it an identity of more reliable damage than detonation siphon at the cost of less damage per cast

I think that would be nice—since they want there to be play around corpses, it could consume a nearby corpse to boost its damage.

I’ve said this many times. It should siphon the enemy for sure

Completely agreed! I would very much prefer this to the current where we have to wait to cast it until there is a corpse.. and hopefully another necro doesn't steal the corpse/s before we can cast it... Also buffing if a corpse is consumed is a great idea to make it completive to the stam morph.

    Started ESO - Oct 2020

    Necro Main
Tank main from 300cp - 1200cp at which point I switched to DPS - I was 100k on every class except werewolf. I cleared 115k on necro, but I am completely done with parsing. My hands won't let me anymore. Lucky there is still heavy attack and arcanist options available. Otherwise I would possibly have to give up eso entirely.

Maybe also make it go through walls : if it stops working after you go behind a tree or something, its average duration will be like 3 secs in a 1vX, wich is exactly where necro struggles the most
