Armour, Motifs and the store....?

I'd be happy to find out i'm being an idiot at this point and the answer is right in front of me...but.....

How can you tell which Motif the armour is when buying from store? Say i wanted Bosmer Brig, how do i know it won't be argonian Brig? I don't see anything else in the naming or details to distinguish them from each other.

I've bought several pieces to try and work it out in conjunction with ES0-Fashion (Item picture + name) but it never works out.

Nope it's not just you. I have similar issue with this. Technically the little icon of the gear is supposed to help you figure out which one it is.

If you craft a lot, eventually you get a feel for which one is which, but sometimes it's close to impossible to tell. Also buying in stores or guild store sometimes just defaults to your character's race motif in terms of its icon, then when you buy it turns out to be totally different.

I know that in the upcoming patch they will add in dyes for achievements, so hopefully they will rework the aesthetics of gear a bit for crafters.

Thanks for the addon, it is useful somewhat in the inventory, but still doesn't help when using the store. guess I could study each one to try work it out but that doesn't sound like much fun for something that should just be in-game from the get go.

Appreciate the response either way, hopefully they sort this out is it's beyond a joke IMO. I know people ask for anything and everything in MMO's, god knows i've played them long enough to know that, but seriously, this is a joke and should get sorted ASAP.
