Okay, how do these work?

bundles1.png

Question 1: does getting the Tanlorin+Zerith-var bundle cancels out the individual bundles, or can we get all three?

Question 2 (if we cannot get all three): there's stuff in the individual bundles that are not shown in the 2-companion bundles and viceversa. Is that a bug/mistake, or does that mean that we do not get all of the items in all three bundles?

[red items are not shown in the individual bundles, green items are not shown in the 2-companion bundle]

There's no real "bundle" in individual ones. It's just one companion, with quests, bonus and possibility to place as houseguest. It all works same no matter how you buy it.

Marked with red are about "learn the story of..." (which you learn through quests).
First green, "Invite..." = houseguest, you get as a reward for last quest.
    Last green = companion bonus.
Second green = rewards from quests + collectible thing that makes bonus permanent (doesn't matter if compaion is active)

That's only about price - together they cost less.

    I have a different question.

Is this deal going to always be available or is it going to disappear? Not a eso+ right now but I plan to sub in December.

it's not limited time and it's technically dlc so it'll probably stay forever

I am eager to hear the official response from ZOS, if there are any differences between buying the two companions together or buying them separately. The OP and I would like to know if the two types of purchase give access to the same perks listed in the "bundle details" or if they are different, as it seems. In fact the "bundle details" of the two options seem different.
    Thank you

There is no difference in the content you get if you buy the Companions in a bundle or separately. It's just that separate details give more insight into a specific Companion's passive unlocks.

the only difference to buying them separately vs individually would be crown cost (if your not eso+ you save 500 crowns buying them as a bundle instead of individually)

Well, honestly, ESO Plus should be 'free' for people who have to pay XBox or PSN a monthly access fee to play online games.

Question. . . I accepted the free quest of a crafter toon, then deleted it thinking I could reaccept of a different character, it is no longer available to either character is there a way to fix this?

you should be able to get the quests by interacting with the companion collectibles or simply going to their quest location

Zerith is at Moonmonth, Reaper's March.
Tanlorin is at Monkey's Rest, Auridon.

Agreed. It's the same thing they do with DLC bundles.

For example the Gates of Oblivion bundle only lists Flames of Ambition, Waking Flame and Deadlands, whereas the individual listing for Deadlands specifies you get both the Deadlands and Fargrave maps, the story quests, bonus quests to end the Year Long Story and new item sets, collectibles and achievements.

They put 3-6 icons on each bundle to tell you what's included, if it's a smaller pack they'll include more details, if it's a bigger one they have to summarise.

It's more noticable with the DLC collector's editions, where that just lists the DLC and the bonus items whereas the basic one will specify what you get in the DLC, but there's none of them in the store right now to use as an example.

    Well ....

.... originally story content was all "DLC" until ZO decided they wanted to charge subscribers for it, after having promised that DLC would be included with ESO Plus forever.

So they made up the "chapter" term, and chapters automagically becoming "DLC" after one year.

They could do the same with companions, or anything really, all the way down to something completely ridiculous like the game client's updater.

What? You want patches for free?! You greedy monsters!

Those are now called .... "appliques" and to match their fabulous fancy French name, will cost you 10 billion crowns per megabyte.
