The resource sapping is a bit much. You took all the fun out of playing with this co-op. What about final phase when 3 scarecrows pop up and you can't defeat a single scarecrow before your resources are completely drained? You just automatically lose?

The problem with this quest is that it doesn't scale to the number of players. Why doesn't all of your content scale to the number of players? Many games have figured this out over a decade ago...

Edit: Husband and I defeated it together by ourselves. But the resource drain was definitely not possible for us without siphoning attacks slotted (both nightblades). Stamina wasn't gonna magically regenerate fast enough on my build with just a staff.

I still think quest/dungeon scaling is becoming more and more needed.

    It literally does though.

    More players equals more adds/crows.

To the point that it's typically much easier with fewer players because you get significantly less stamina drain.

Group content is often scaled for 4+ players, but not less than.

The stamina drain as a mechanic should have been purgable with crows even outside of the crouch phase. With a 15 second cooldown before the drain happens again or something. Make it per player, each player has to purge a crow by synergizing with their own landing crow between the crouching phases (during crouching phase didn't have enough drain for just 2 players).

TL;DR: the stamina drain was too much during the actual fight, but during the crouch phase the stamina drain was almost non-existent.

Surely no one is failing at this boss at this point

I've heard it's easier with 2-4 players. More players = more Crows = way less stamina. I think the fight is fine, the only issue is the overtuned scaling number of crows.

Because it's so hard with many players, people assume it's hard and therefore requires a bigger group, reinforcing the original problem lol.

I've been in groups of 10 to 12 all but one time when we did it with a group of 4. I found the group of 4 to be easier, but not sure if it was because of less crows or what. It seemed to go quicker, too.

I'd have to test more, but I think the drain also has some rng to it (or maybe a bug) with how much it drains.

One group I did it with, we just all got max stamina drained instantly about 10-15 seconds into the second crouch phase and wiped due to the boss sprinting all over the entire arena 1 shotting everyone, despite using the crow synergy multiple times, yet the next time with that same group (and every other time I've done the fight in any group), the stamina drain was basically non-existent during the fight and only slowly ramped up during crouch phase that could be easily countered with 1 crow synergy and 1 potion.
