Review - The new begining feels right again

I usually don't do this kind of posting but I felt I had to do it this time:
I just created a new char and the begining of all of it just feels right now as you start once again in the Wailing Prison after being sacrificed by Manimarco.
Even I'm a vet player I really enjoyed the way you have improved it. I think new players won't be as much as confuised as before.
I also appreciated the improved/refurbished Wailing Prison and the path needed to be taken by the char. it's really better than before, I must praise that.
So, thanks ZOS to the changes made to the tutorial and by turning it back to the original.

Oh? needs to read patch notes, apparently I really dislike the way the game began to throw you into the Wailing Prison at whatever-point you accepted the main quest instead of from the start. It felt very disjointed and stupid.

It's nice.

My only qualms are:

1) The "Combat tutorial" still feels awkward and annoying with it locking you to specific actions and its overall slowness

2) There's much less gear availability. The Balifera Island had plenty of opportunities to pick up every weapon type (Including all 3 Destro Staves) and full sets of all 3 armour classes. (I tried looting everything I saw in this new Coldharbour start and every container just contained Gnawed Bones)

With the skip you got a 2/2/2 set of armour (With Training trait) and a box containing all weapon sets (All with Training too)... Now you only get the useless prisoner garb, one heavy chest piece and a single 1 hand sword, a 2 hand sword and a bow.

Isn't this the point? I mean, someone who does not need it can skip the tutorial, but those who do are sitting there trying to figure out what it is they are supposed to be doing and questioning life choices, at the moment.

I'm not happy about it. I never was. I won't be making (and paying for) any more new accounts.

I think the Wailing Prison is the best place to start, but you are correct about the Balfiera start having better loot options. You could pick up a whole set of gear in any weight from one of those rooms inside. It was nice.

I haven’t started a new toon so I haven’t been back there yet. I was considering making my first tank but I am hesitant. Maybe during New Life festival.
