For me, resources were crap. I done mostly heavy attacks and getting very little to no resources. Biggest when I grouped with others that had done the Lord Hollowjack, it sent me to the Crow Wraith when I was suppose to go to Lord Hollowjack. Now lastly, I crouched then the game brought me out of crouch and I dies but as soon as I became visible Lord Hollowjack immediately killed me again.

    Which ESO platform?

    I have completed Lord Hollowjack twice on PS/NA, while grouped with 4 or 5 people. More people is better, since both times some of us got killed during the Lord Hollowjack sneak/search phase. But there were enough of us in group that Lord Hollowjack could not kill us all before at least one of us were able to use a soul gem.

    Folks in group said to scare the birds during the sneak/search phase. And to kill the scarecrows while not in sneak/search phase.

    Good luck! I haven't experienced any bugs during my two completions.

    You have to kill the scarecrows, as they drain your resources. Not a bug.

    I haven't seen any bugs, just mechanics killing people who haven't yet learned them.
    Struggling to find a new class to call home.Please send help.

    If you run out of stamina you will lose stealth and be visible and get killed. There was a synergy with the crows that helped, I think.

    No bugs with the boss for me, but I had 12 tickets and didn’t see a red warning so I lost the two tickets for today because that was my first boss.

    The resource drain is not a bug, just a very annoying mechanic caused by the scarecrow totems.

    Problem is they constantly spawn and far away. When you're solo and on a regular non-HA build, it becomes close to impossible to deal with them as your resources are gonna be at 0 almost the whole time. Used a potion? Back to 0 stam & mag in 2 secs. Heavy attack? barely enough to let you cast 1 skill before you're back to 0 mag & stam. it's like advertisement for heavy attack builds lol.

    It's a very badly designed boss imo, no one enjoys struggling with sustain. Make the fight difficult in another way. How are we supposed to kill anything or stay alive with 0 resources..

    (I know it was mainly designed for groups, not solo, but still...)

    Something that's happened to me a couple times: After the second crouch phase, when the boss returns to fight phase, he despawns after the first hit and the fight resets. I don't think it's that everyone died -- I was up when the boss transitioned back to the fight -- but especially in the second crouch phase, people start going down fast with the crow debuff.

    Minor bug, the visibility eye indicator on crouch phase is permanently open. Crouch is still working, but definitely made me nervous my first couple times through.

    Its a mech, not a bug. This is what makes fighting Hollowjack challenging.
    Making a game fun should be a priority. Making a game balanced should not come at the expense of fun.

    did the boss once solo, and several times with a 12 person group, and once with a 6 person group

    fight didnt seem buggy, but i will agree about annoying mechanics

    in my solo fight i was on a tanky character, so i couldnt die even afking in the middle of hollowjack attacking + the pumpkin beams + like 6-8 of the plant wraiths, but the entire fight took me 30 minutes, mostly in the 3rd phase of the fight because i had no resources and was getting cc'd constantly (the stealth sections on a solo run were super easy even on a heavy armor tank as long as you shooed the crows)

    in the 12 person groups, he would generally get melted pretty fast, although there was no way to burn past his stealth phases, the stealth phases were very bad with a 12 person group because it spawns so many crows that it kills your resources, you lose stealth, and then just get nuked when hollowjack runs over to you (mostly because people dont shoo the crows)

    as for bugs, the only bug i experienced was i had the fight reset on me in my solo run when i got too close to the walls while i was trying to kill the crow totem during the first phase

    The only bug I encountered so far was I entered the realm well after other members of my group, only to be the only one in the instance.

    I left and re-entered and that fixed it - the group was already fighting.

    If you kill Lord Hollowjack as your first boss (Gold Plunder skull) it doesn't give you tickets. All the other bosses do.
