Guild Theme: A home for those without one. Any manner of outcast soul from society for whatever reason may find a family here like no other. Shunned by society, the Cheshire Cats offer a light of hope for such people, where before there may have been none. They may be slow to trust, but once they do, you'd want no one else in your corner. Flipping off the rest of the world, they lean on and trust each other. More than the Dark Brotherhood, more than the Thieves guild, and all the rest.

Lead by a fiery tempered human woman, she forges ahead in life protecting those under her banner with the fiercest of passions, ensuring they excel at all they set out to do, enjoying all that the world of Tamriel has to offer.

We are a Mature Themed guild, and take role-playing seriously. It's our passion. If all you want to do is login and ERP all night, this may not be the guild for you. We believe in building our characters in challenging story lines and enjoying all aspects of role-play, while always respecting a players OOC limitations.


IC Notes:

Members stick together through thick and thin, living life like each day is their last. With mixed pasts, all that matters now is present and doing whatever it takes to get by.

OOC Stuff


* Originally established in 2005 in World of Warcraft. Though there have been many comings and goings due to real life, the guild has retained the first two core members.

* Core member cap of TEN.

* Mature, intelligent members with a passion for role-play.

* Have a serious desire to role-play... or even if you cannot role-play all that well and want to learn from the best... we will help teach you. Just have the passion.

* An active website, where members keep track of events, and character lives. We have role-playing sections to play out stories you may not be able to find time to do in game, and more. We take role-playing to a whole new level.

* We are IC at all times. (See the guild rules)

*Dedicated OOC channel available.

* Guild Movies (and character artwork!). i work hard to create movies featuring the guild and its memorable characters. Be they personal character movies, or movies depicting some of our adventures, they become another building block in the foundation of this guilds rich history. You can find them all on YouTube, under TheCheshireCats.

* NOTE: We generally play the characters no one else wants to play. The evil, the rotten, the questionable, the unsure, even the goodie goodie with questionable kinks. Don't feel restricted with role-play here. And don't worry about members confusing YOU with your character. ALL Cheshire Cats adhere heavily to The Line.

We also have a lengthy application process. This process involves quite a bit of role-play, and an OOC application, which in turn demonstrates to us if you are a mature role-player or not. It helps to make sure, no children get in this guild.


What you will not see in this guild:


* People blurring/crossing the Line. We have zero tolerance for people who start to confuse real life with in game life and events.

* Degradation of other members, and rudely criticizing their methods of RP. Here we nurture and help. Not put down and make others feel bad.

Cheshire Cat Pride!

Members take pride in saying they are a Cheshire Cat. Being a Cat is a way of living to us. Being a Cat strikes deep into ones heart, where things you are passionate about are blown into a living representation. IC our characters fight against what society may think of them, and OOC we have come to be banded together even tighter against people who are out to do nothing but destroy us over past negative feelings and events.

We love to role-play, but we have a motto.

Real Life first - Always.

We are all adults. Many have lives, families, responsibilities. However, that doesn't change your desire to be IC at all times when in game. To have the most immersive experience possible when you are able to get on. We understand if you can't make a meeting, or an event... we try hard to work the game around real life- as it should be.

So while IC we may look a little shady and questionable… OOC we are the best bunch around.

**Note: One thing i'd like to point out here, we are not to be a huge guild. We are tight-knit family. Both IC and OOC. We are a special collection of really great role-players who aren't afraid to play a character that is outside the box, and press our role-play abilities to their limits. We believe it's quality of people, not numbers.
