Lead: Daedric Enchanting Apparatus

So trying to get this lead so I can have the cool Daedric item in my house, looked it up on Google and saw someone mention it only drops from the chest if you enter the Dungeon from the Deadlands [As opposed to from Blackwood]. I'm currently at 30/30 for beating the final boss and still no lead...can anymore confirm that this drops from the Atoll only if you enter from the Deadlands?

Yes, it was always this way a while ago (at least one year). For the lead: enter portal from deadlands. For a specific quest/letter for eidetic memory entry: go in from blackwood side.
Don't know if something has changed, but i don't think so.
But anyway i would try it 2-3 times from Blackwood, and then return to from Deadlands. Changing things and routines helps often to get leads that won't drop, in my experience.

I gave up after many tries with that boss over two days and after looting dozens of nodes for the other lead, running through deadlands over and over. The lockbox dropped its lead first time.

I'm not going slowly mad in the deadlands.

I'll go back sometimes when I feel like it, and take my chances, but solid grinding at the horrible RND levels this game is capable of- no way.

I got that one during the recent Blackwood/Deadlands event. I just stayed in the Atoll and waited for the boss to respawn to get my 30 kills in each zone.

I'm missing the one from the runes.

Yeah, you don't need to run through the Atoll each and every separate time. Sit there, wait for boss to respawn, kill boss again, loot chest, eventually get lead.

Believe me, it's FAR less annoying than trying to get the lead from killing non-hostile daedrats (especially trying to get that lead a second time...)

And we DO NOT talk about Watchlings.

You can even log out inside. Use a character you're not doing anything else with at the moment and each time you reload that character you'll still be inside, in the same spot you logged out. Kill the boss 1, 2 , 3 times a day or whatever you're comfortable with. I think it's like a 5 minute reset.
