What happened to these items?

Hi,

Im searching for this item specifically for a long time already but i have never seen one... Found an old post from 2018 where someone asked the same:

According to UESP it shouldve been ingame till 2020 but the guy asked already in 2018 and couldnt find any either. Has the item never made it to the live game? Also, what could be reasons for this? Since it seems like it was added in 2017 with the Homestead update?

Does anyone have some info? There is a ton of such items.

A commenter on this one on ESO fashion says no, it was just pulled from datamining.

There could be numerous reasons for it being pulled.

If it ever returns to the game, my guess would be either in the crown store or the luxury vendor.

high isle trap door also has a plan without it actually being obtainable, which could eventually be removed.

There is a nearly identical lamp, just with a bit more color, that is dug up as a purple antiquity lead. It's named something like the tall pappas lamp or something pretty close to that.

The plan was in the client for 3 years, then removed in Update 25.

They were planning on making it droppable but due to one reason or another, such as a bug or change of plans on accessibility of the resultant furnishing said plan was removed.

were was it supposed to drop? Also were do you got this info from? Just an assumption?

We could only guess.

It's even possible that it dropped somewhere super specific in the game but either no-one found it or realised they'd hit major paydirt. With no central AH and many players hating having to ever go outside of the game to look for info (eg. the PC trade centre website) while playing, it's possible that some players just learned or vendored it.

Or maybe as others have guessed, it was added to the client with the intention of making it available and then developer plans changed. It was added with housing in 2017. The luxury vendor was also added in 2017. Devs might have debated whether to release the plan into the game or reserve it for the lux ven, and eventually decided on the latter.

Weirder is the removal of the Elsweyr Canopy, Peaked.

This item was buyable for quite some time, I know of people who has it in their houses, but then one day it was suddenly gone.

Do you think its possible then, that some of these pre crafted items still remain in the game or even plans of them? Or are just the infos on UESP inaccurate?

The plans were probably never available, but uesp means that the plans used to exist in the files but were removed, not that the plans were ever obtainable

Correct.

It's very weird. If I recall correctly there is not a single mention in any patch note why it was removed or even that it was removed. It was just gone from the crown store one day.

OMG! I had no idea but I knew I thought I had seen a canopy like this at some point but couldn't find it? Is this really real? It's such Deja Vu!
