The lore-related chronological order of the quest line stories?

If I were to set out to finish all of the major quest lines in the game, is there a proper order I should do them so that the entire story of the entire game will make cohesive sense for me?

Yes there is an order. For the most part it is complete the main quest lines for the base game and chapter/DLC content in the order they were released. Since base game content is run for a single alliance you could go for Cadwell's Silver and Gold achievements which let you run the base game quests for the two other alliances. It also allows you to see the base game ending in multiple ways. If you search there are some guides out there for how to play the game in order.
