What exactly I don't know about stained glasses?

IndorilArwynLlethran
Sometimes the glowing just desappears. I move my furnishings, remove them and add again and - oops, my precious windows stop glowing. I take them to another house - they glow again. I take them back - they don't. I just leave them for a day o two - they glow again.
So. Is it a bug or some kind of feature? If it's a bug - what should I do to fix it?

It’s a “feature”. Windows stop working when it’s cloudy out unfortunately. Which is why the housing community would really like weather control in houses.

    Check the weather.
When it rains, is cloudy, the windows/stained glassed won't project light.

The cloud logic is hilarious. The windows give off more light than the moon at nighttime, we have the ability to change the time of day, and they give off light when there's absolutely no source of light behind the glass. Clouds are however better at blocking light than the actual planet they float around.

I always just thought the game had great difficulty rendering them, like in all the other areas of the game the server does weird stuff. What bothered me the most was having to ask people visiting if they could see the glow/light shafts on the ground. Sometimes they would be lit for me but not them and vice versa.

Impossible to fix - its cosmetic - and we're stuck with it just like the heinous Timber Crow briefs.
