How long is the Explorers event that starts on Oct 8th?

I get that extra days will be added to the event based on players completing the Gold Road event thing, but what's the default number of days for the Explorers event? Or are the number of days tied solely to the Gold Road event, meaning it's always going to be 3-9 days? I'm just trying to figure out how long the Explorers event can potentially be.

most of the explorers days are a "weekend" which is like starting thurs or fri and ending mon or tues (about the same timeframe as the BG event weekends), but it does tend to vary a bit

i have my main house (grand topal hideaway) listed in the housing tours, it has multiple target dummies, scribing altar, and grandmaster stations (in progress being filled out), as well as almost every antiquity furnishing on display to preview them

    From here (past events):

    https://eso-hub.com/en/events/explorers-celebration

    From: May 23rd 2024, To: May 28th 2024
    From: Mar 2nd 2023, To: Mar 7th 2023
    From: Oct 11th 2022, To: Oct 17th 2022
    From: Mar 17th 2022, To: Mar 22nd 2022
    From: Oct 12th 2021, To: Oct 19th 2021
    From: May 13th 2021, To: May 20th 2021

It might not be a complete list because I remember another one in 2020 starting on the 12th of November (is my birthday so I thought 'nice present, thanks') but I don't remember when it ended.

EDIT: Found the announcement, from Nov 12th to November 16th 2020:

it looks like based on the event details, its +3 days of explorer for every 33% of the progress meter filled out, which would be 3, 6, or 9 days (though based on past experience, its likely going to be 9 days because ive never seen the event meter not get filled lol)

They did this for the Heroes of High Isle event in 2022:

    https://www.elderscrollsonline.com/en-us/news/post/62811

It was 2 days of the Explorer's event for every quarter of the bonus-specific vents meter that got filled. That meter ended at 77%, so it was 6 days of the Explorer's bonus in all (October 11 at 10am Eastern to October 17 at 10am Eastern).

You can still see the tracker here:

    https://www.elderscrollsonline.com/en-us/heroesofhighisle

And the confirmation that the Explorer's bonus ran Oct. 11-17 here:

Those meters are not the same:

    "Bonus Explorer’s Celebration

In addition to the event’s main meter and rewards, you and your fellow players can also unlock additional days of the subsequent Explorer’s Celebration event by completing ANY quests within the West Weald zone.

For every 33% of the bonus meter completed (also found on the official event page), we’ll enable three days of the Explorer’s Celebration. This bonus mini-event kicks off as soon as the Fallen Leaves of West Weald event ends on October 8 and grants additional XP, Gold, and resource harvesting for everybody in Tamriel during the event period."

The bonus meter ended at 77% two years ago. It is no guarantee and not linked to the event meter proper.
