Listing time in Guild Stores is too short

Some higher value items take a while to sell. There should be a way to increase the listing time, for example, doubling the time by subscribing to ESO+. This would be a great incentive for me to join ESO+. Also, there could at least be an option to automatically relist all items when we don't want to make any changes to the value.

No Thank You for making ESO + a requirement for listing time in Guild Store/Traders.

I say that as someone who already have two active sub, so it wouldn't make a difference from my POV, but it would create even more of a gap between player with or without ESO+.

Increase (or return to what we had with 30 days listing) should be done independent of ESO+ sub.

As for "automatically relist all items when we don't want to make any changes" I believe the intention from ZoS was to make player reconsider price and amount of item before listing it again or even make use of another Guild Trader/Store if they have more then one Guild that have unlocked trading, to list that item there instead so that potential buyers might find item at that location instead and purchases it then to just relist it again.

Relisting an item that haven't been sold will not change its price with your suggestion (auto relist without any changes) and the idea here is that seller need to take into consideration that market value of item might have changed during those 14 days since it was listed and reduce price a bit to match until a potential buy will make a decision to accept price and purchase it. With shorter interval between when an item will be returned to seller and with more often seller will have to re-evaluate what quantity and price to sell that item for it should in theory make items go down in price faster then with 30 days list time.

The other issue is flipping and larger Guild that are in reality working together with other Guild or even have same people that control several Guilds to dominate certain market section through buying up item at a low price point and relist them at higher price and that way force prices up or keep them high at same price level instead of going down.

It's just an idea. I don't have an ESO+ sub, so obviously I'd prefer to have an alternative way to get more listing time in Guild Stores, maybe with a quest or sales achievement. But it really needs to be increased. Every two weeks constantly relisting all items manually, on a game of this size, with so many other things to do, it just makes me less interest in Guild Stores. Anyway, an option to automatically relist everything, would be a nice solution.

If you listed them twice, then you've already proven that listing them for 28 days won't work.

I'm making most of my money from selling to merchants now. Instant, if low cash. No listing fees or dues.
No inventory clogging of 'possible, maybe, as if' now useless stuff.

    Good luck.

I'd rather not see them add too many "bonuses" to eso+ (which are in fact just penalties for people not taking eso+). I personally think a whole lot of this discussion could have been avoided if the cost for listing an item was also halved. Change the listing cost from 1% to 0.5% and the sell cost from 3.5% to 1.75%. Guilds can keep the 3.5%, the gold gathered from taxes alone is low enough as it is. Paying the same to get half the listing time is like a company selling a product on a yearly basis, and at some point cutting that year's content in half without lowering prices. I can't imagine that would go very well. :)

It's not just the listing cost that's an issue. It's also the hassle of having to relist twice as often.
Please just bring back the old listing time.

I bet the reason they did this is for it to become a gold sink, lower prices overall in game, I seriously doubt they will revert now.

Not really a gold sink as only a small percentage goes into the void, the rest is switching gold between people. But yeah, it's an effective way to force people into lower prices which might be a good thing in the long run. Nowadays you can at least get some golden gear without robbing a bank first and there're still ways to get a reasonable profit.

At least add the "prolong" button in the store itself!

Only if it comes with new listing fees.

I would gladly pay multiplied listing fee if it would allow me to list for longer.
This change just annoys me to the bone....

Pretty much everyone agrees, but after shouting as loud as we could for months we've all gone horse and gave up the fight. This is just another anti QoL change ZOS made and isn't going to change it back.

Many of us have just left our trade guilds and quit participating in buying and selling almost all together. This situation has been devastating to trade guilds and our ability to make gold in game.

I can think of a company that did just that recently. o:)

And quit eso+, and gone more or less inactive in game.
My friendlist is sadly very much just offline people. I can tell some log in to maybe claim the daily and do a thing or two, but it's mostly quiet, and people are showing offline for longer and longer stretches. Which is the exact same thing I've done since that change and the crash of eso sales economy.

No... I will cancel my ESO sub immediately if ZOS ever does this... The 30-day time for keeping an item in the trade store was part of the base game. Increasing the time should be FREE for everyone... INCLUDING gaining access to the craft bag.

Why did they change it? 30-day time for keeping an item in the trade store seems perfectly reasonable. The problem with 2 weeks for me is that I play other games too. So, if I'm away for a while, when I return instead of playing I have always to deal with it before playing. And if one day I'm away for one month, I'll lose everything, because the mail has the same problem of the trading store, the items disappear from the mail after two weeks.

Everything has very short times, and that's what has discouraged me from continuing sales. However, I think a month in the store and another month in the mail would be ideal and perfectly safe for most players. If that were the case, there would be no problem in taking the risk of always having a full store listing.

For these reasons, I think it would be good to have a way for us to extend the time. I even set an example with achievements. They could create sales challenges that, when conquered, would give as a reward an increase in time for listings in stores. That would be a fun way to get it.
