Stuck in Combat...

The Cyrodiil players can be Stuck in Combat for a minute, five minutes, ten minutes, or longer, meaning that you cannot perform certain functions (like calling your mount or logging out of the game, etc.) because "being in combat" disallows many normal functions. You can use the Transitus System, however, and recall to even your home gates FAR from any combat whatsoever and STILL remain Stuck in Combat for many minutes.

[The Zero Stamina Recovery Bug is also a long-standing bug in Cyrodiil but it is less impactful. Just the same, I think it requires some attention as well."]

While I realize that it is a game design that being in combat prevents certain actions, when the state of being in combat persists across many minutes with no combat being engaged in for one, five, ten or more minutes (especially in Cyrodiil), I believe a fix for this problem is required.

    The game works with combat instances, I do not know the exact conditions of this transaction.
    What could be interesting is solutions that perhaps could be added to the existing combat instances:
    • Is it possible to end the combat instance upon death?
    • Is it possible to end the combat instance based on distance?
    • Are there other smart ways of exiting combat when the user needs without changing locations like queuing for IC.

    These are the questions the devs maybe need to explore if redesign of combat instances is less likely.
