The first or one of the first things that comes to mind when you say “necromancer” is raising the dead and/or an army of corpses. But in teso the necro class has no such thing, and only has it in the infinite archive. Why doesn't the class have this?

These npcs can be attached to coffins, as long as the coffins exist they create npcs every 2 seconds or as many corpses absorbed the coffins, they create as many corpses.

I've said this many times before, but for me, a necromancer in Elder Scrolls is the odd thrall and tinkering with soul gems. If anything a soul magic themed necro (something I'm currently playing with much success) is how I see an Elder Scrolls necro.
But then I guess everyone has everyone has different ideas of what a necro should be. Although it misses the mark a little bit for me, running around with dozens of summons like the Guild Wars 1 necro also completely misses the mark.
