I would post this in Fiction and Roleplaying, but i see there's no traction in that category unfortunately.
Anyways, I used to see, on common occasion, RP guilds post in zone chat their guild links to apply to a "fun adventure" or "new / veteran RP community." Enough for me to try it out years and years ago, and I loved it! Made plenty of friends.
Nowadays, there's rarely a peep in zone chat for applications!
The RP guilds that I am currently in / used to be recently have died down quite quickly, ultimately leading the guildmasters to disband or turn the guild into a social guild, requiring discord, PSN chats, or other apps like instagram or X (Twitter) for group chats instead of in-game communication. (not totally against outside of game communication, but a "required or leave the guild" type of rule is pretty bothersome)
My main question, different from the title, does anyone have any active roleplaying guilds to suggest for my platform and server? I'd love to invest in a RP guild again, it's tons of fun and just a bunch of great minds altogether, just unfortunate that every time i find one, it's in its "retiring" stage.
Second question: has roleplaying dwindled down in ESO? I can't imagine so considering the vast amount of lore / creativity in not only the in-game character creation, but with player's minds in general loving to create a story / background of the character they play.

HarthwoodSoul ShrivenThere are a bunch guilds around but they don't post as much. My guild personally posts 3-4 times through zone chats we are a incredibly small but active Breton based guild that always loves taking in more people regardless of race.
That being said part of your post is something most guilds do nowadays Discord is more or less always going to be required for the functionality it provides to guilds as well as a way for members to communicate with each other when they are in the game. I am unsure about like Instagram and stuff that's new to me personally
As mentioned above you can also join a Hub guild. I am not personally in one but there is RPers Unlimited and I think one more? The Rp fourms are indeed dead which is sad because I did make a post a few months ago that got zero traction. If you ever wana rp in game feel free to reach out to me here or in game at @Harthwood1
