The light horse starts with 25% speed so it's the fastest after being upgraded 49 times (the max level for every horse). It costs 42k I believe.Fairydragon3 wrote: »So what is the fastest horse, although i'm guessing it's the most expensive one, HOPE it's not the Palomino
yeah common misconception of the horse system is that you can max the horse out over time. That's not true, you get 49 points to upgrade the horse total. This is why there are multiple horses, since different breeds are good for different things. You have your pack mule, your warhorse and your travelling horse.
The draft horse starts with 10 bag slots, so its the best in the end.Fairydragon3 wrote: »yeah common misconception of the horse system is that you can max the horse out over time. Oh man, just realized ive been just investing in my imperial horse for bag space, is there a better horse for that?

I've been wondering this as well.Adramelach wrote: »What happens if you have a horse you've been adding capacity to, and you fill your inventory up, then you switch to a horse that doesn't have that capacity? What happens to the stuff in the slots that came from the previous horse?

1 speed point doesn't really make that much difference...don't feel bad about it.xxslam48xxb14_ESO wrote: »It would be nice if they add a way to respec your horse for people that accidentally feed incorrectly or just want different stats after realizing stamina is useless. Im putting all my stats into speed, but I accidentally put 1 point into bag space and now my horse will never be max speed......... ugh!
It won't let you switch and will say "You need x more open inventory slots" in the top right, like when you try to decon or refine without enough bag space.Adramelach wrote: »What happens if you have a horse you've been adding capacity to, and you fill your inventory up, then you switch to a horse that doesn't have that capacity? The assault line buff ability Retreating Maneuver (one of the morphs) definitely affects mount speed and its a significant boost, well worth a slot on one of your weapon bars.Do you know if passive and or active skills affect horse speed? for example the speed AoE buff from assault skilline
