Scribing skills description says "apply to you OR an ally?"

When you make your customized scribing skills as Tank, it says:”Beneficial Signature and Affix Scripts apply to YOU OR AN ALLY”, but Hyperioxes said after his testing, he sees the buff actually covers YOU AND all 3 of your allies in 4 men dungeons, and someone else also said to me, in Trials, the Tank's scribing skills buffs could apply to YOU AND 5 of your teammates (similar to PA which also apply to 6 people per cast), which means your scribing skill's minor courage, minor force, minor intellect and endurance buffs etc could work on 6 people max, so why ZOS says in game skill description” OR AN ALLY” when it actually works on 6 people (yourself plus 5 allies), why ZOS can't just say exactly what it does in tooltip, why let the players do the guessing game?

✭It simply means that you can target yourself or an ally to pop the skill, the effect will be the same and target yourself and 3-5 other allies depending on the skill and so the tooltip is correct.I'm but a sarcastic beef jerky. Irony and cynicism are my parents. You've been warned.3 -
SkaiFaith✭✭✭✭✭Wield Soul damage shield says "you or an ally" and it means it, unfortunately XD would have been bonkers if it would have applied to 6 people lol, but if it was you + companion + pet would have helped in scenarios like IA.

OK, bro, forget about the damage shield, you might be correct on the damage shield part. The main point I was trying to say was that Hyperioxes said some of the buffs that scribing skills provide, for example, minor force, minor intellect and endurance, minor courage, minor resolve etc, these buffs NOT only works on yourself or an ally, it works on yourself+all other 3 allies at the same time in 4 men dungeons. Hyperioxes has confirmed this after testing, and he's a Pro, so I do believe what he says is correct. In which case the tooltips should say something like” these buffs works on you AND 3 other allies ”, rather than just say” OR an ally,” because “An” means single, and “3 allies” means plural. The wording of the tooltip description is just horrible, It's not straightforward and very misleading.1 -

I actually wish that Wield Soul would ONLY apply to the caster. Because I hate having my self-heals get stolen by randoms while in Cyrodiil, etc.
It has the same problem that like Rapid Regen from the Resto Staff line has: it's a self-heal that is completely unreliable when you actually need it.1 -
