    You cannot hang additional things from the wheel. They will not swing with it.

    @nebula3832 I did once path a non combat pet cat to walk around the top of the wheel.

    It was a little wonky because the wheel does not spin flat, it undulates slightly but it did look ok!

    I might even still have it, I will look later! :)

    I think the point was calling the items "luxury". For blood-soaked bandages I only need 1 random person that won't be missed by anyone and 1 dagger to cut both that person and a scrap of cloth from whatever they wear - and voilá: blood-soaked bandages for free! (Maybe I should turn that into a business if one bloody scrap can be sold for 2000 gold...)
