If you're talking about pvp, magsorcs can get huge buffs to their hardened ward with major vitality (wich they don't have in their skill lines I think). Warden has access to charm, the best stun, with their class mastery script. To this day, necro still doesn't have access to major prophecy/savagery (unless they want to waste a slot on syphon) or a reliable stun so a lot of necros use scribing.
If you're talking about pve, I have no clue. Frankly, I don't even have Gold Road and I'm just looking at what most players use.
