Hello,

I want to offer a gift with my crowns (40,000) and the game tells me that I don't have the authorization and that I have to open a ticket...

I open a ticket and the person tells me that it's not the right section (it's true that with the choice offered it's not obvious...) and they attach a link.

So I open a second ticket explaining my situation and I get a response pretty quickly.

And there I think I'm dreaming...

I quote:

"We regret to inform you that we are unable to fulfill your request to enable gifting on your account.

Your account must demonstrate regular in-game activity and/or be active in the ESO community before submitting your request in order to be considered eligible to participate in the ESO gifting program.

If you wish to appeal this decision or if we can help you in any other way, please let us know by replying to this ticket."

I have been ESO+ for 5 years, I log in and play (almost) every day, I am an active member of 5 guilds and participate in PVE and PVP outings, I play all the events, I intervene on the Forum to correct translation errors...

What more can I do to demonstrate regular activity???

Guild friends don't have this problem even though they don't do more than me. Could it be discrimination or a good old attack on the freedom to use what the game itself offers us...

My decision will be to stop ESO+ since I can't use my crowns as I please... And to ask the question to a consumer protection association...

my suggestion, since this worked for me over the course of a few weeks:
    - Reply with all the reasons you wish to appeal to the first automated reply
    - Then when you get a second automated reply saying they can't help you further, appeal again and wait for a human to answer and look into it.

It's pretty stupid it has to take so long but you'll have to wait probably 3+ days after each reply
