Can we change Torch scribing skill?

Using this skill with 2 second channel time is really bad with light attack weaving and there is a way to just bypass this channel time with good light attack and skill input so you can just spam it every 1 second. DPS diffrenc is like 10k(i was testing it on 3mln dummy on stamina dk). I really don't like doing this either because it is not always working and sometimes you are doing a heavy attack and you are not getting this hypermode. I really would love to see this change with something similar with timing like jabs. What do you guys think about this?

    The two second cast times on several of the scribing skills are annoying and counter to good LA weaving. I'd like to see them removed. Adjust skills accordingly to reflect that they now have 1/2 for casting time duration.

    If they give us a way to affix faster cast time as an opportunity cost I would probably like some of the scribing skills better.

    The whole scribing thing is a bit underwhelming. They are way too expensive (resource) to spam. So that means swapping out another skill on your bar. Every class ( I know of) except Arcanist has two full bars. There is always one flex spot but it’s giving up something to add a custom skill for specific content.

    I’d much rather take my existing spamable and modify it

    I get the impression they didn't intend scribing to replace spammables. At least not yet...
    But it does seem to be able to fill holes in class deficits of certain buffs/debuffs and healing.

    It's the most useful for PvP builds from what I noticed...well, at least soul wield, soul burst, traveling knife, vault, ulfsilds contingency and shield throw...
    Being able to apply major Breach, major vitality, major sorcery/Brutality or major savagery, minor courage...the healing or resource recovery scripts...all these are great for filling deficits in PvP builds.

    I don't use any with a cast time, the skills just aren't worth it.

    I don't like channel times as well, but tbh, in case of scribing it feels like they added long cast times to the most powerful stuff on purpose. These are meant to be buffs/fills, not something that can be weaved easily.

    Try firey explosion in PVE in conjunction with Macabre's Vintage. You won't need to spam the skill to get good results....
