I decided to list my crafting house/guild hall with Home Tours. It's easy enough to do.
But one thing that I think is missing from the "tags" option for your house listing is the ability to tag it as "crafting", "guild" or "services".

Yes, I agree with this completely. I'd love to tour other guild halls.

Since these are the most useful tags and what I assumed would be available and just now tried to set in my guildhall with crafting and services, I suggest we simply use one of the less likely to be used tags to indicate this in the interim.

What do you suggest we use? Kind of like Insightful = LOL on the forums here oftentimes

Was disappointed to find no Guild, Guildhall, Crafting, Utility, nothing.
I know I posted on the pts feedback thread suggesting better tags, as did a lot of people. Seems it got missed by the Devs

Oh, yes, descriptions. Even just three lines of text.

And a note somewhere that says "Please reset clickable furnishings back to the way they were when you entered." Or something along those lines.

Yeh, I was just chatting with a guildmate about there not being a Guild Hall option.

And Crafting would be an awesome one. I know a lot of people with houses dedicated to crafting, or workshops for trade skills.

There also is no option for Castle nor Nobility, but there is for Stronghold... Wouldn't Stronghold be a residence/town? (Thinking is terms of Orcs).

Another thing is the 'From Scratch' option. Reskinned doesn't really fit under that, since it's reskinning what was there with new cobbles,, and Reskinned, I think, is more popular, at least in terminology. I could see From Scratch fitting better if we had more open-land houses.

I'd also like to see, maybe, seaside. Although that might fall under Aquatic. Although Aquatic makes me think of underwater or aquariums, not something like a ship or a sea port.

One word tags just don't speak to everyone in the same way, so maybe a dual tag ie. This/That like Aquatic/Seaside or Horror/Spooky or Castle/Stronghold

Just wanted to follow up here. We do know the team as a list of community suggestions already and will be adding more overtime. Just wanted to make sure everyone knows that suggestions are not being ignored or overlooked. Some of the challenge here is to make sure we are not adding in tags that may be similar to others or adding too many tags in the start and overwhelm anyone. With more people now using the system, we'll have more opportunity to see how tags are being used and adjust from there.

However, totally understand the disappointment upfront and will make sure the team has this thread (as noted before) so that more tags can be reviewed. Thanks for your testing and feedback during the PTS cycle.

Forget the tags. To be blunt it needs descriptions, just to be somewhat comparable to EHT.

I really like the tags as a way to filter for certain types of houses I'm interested in surveying. A couple sentence description feature would be amazing though, for many reasons, for me especially because I'd like to be able to note things like the intended headcanoned location.

Like, a house's in game location might be Hammerfell, but my intended location for what I made might be Elsweyr instead. I have a place made from the xanmeer house in northern Murkmire, but what I actually made is supposed to be located north of Gideon. I'd love a description section so I can mention cute background stuff like this.

Wanted to respond and thank you for the feedback Kevin. Glad to know our voices are being heard, & look forward to more tags (hopefully) soon

I agree. This NEED DESCRIPTIONS.
3 tags and name will tell nothing about house.
I didnt joined EHT open house community but I opened some of my houses in House Tour. BUT they needs really hard descriptions.

I can get on board with tags like Crafting or Services. Those describe what you can expect to see when you enter.

A "Guild" tag though, I dunno. I foresee a few issues with that..

Being a Guild Hall doesn't really describe the house itself.
Do guild halls merit a bit of privacy?
Opens up opportunity for griefing. Players could zero in and keep the guild hall at max occupancy preventing guild members from entering.

I'm just sayin... Be careful what you ask for.

Was chatting in a stream today, and we noticed that there isn't a tag for Comical
There are some really funny houses out there that are intended to be fun. I'm not sure Playful fits it.

Another useful tag might be Daedric realms
and Nature

And then to add to my previous post about doubling up on tags to increase the range of what that category could cover, I have a couple more suggestions:

Arena/Tournament
Cobbles/Reskinned , maybe with (from scratch) in parenthesis.

And a lot of people are requesting descriptions, for various reasons. Although I can understand the possible misuse of the options to write whatever we want to in there.
Some people do have specific 'instructions' , or the need to say where the build is supposed to be located. We have a little leeway that we can do with the title of the build, but we are already abbreviating and shortening the title that we'd want to have there, to get it to fit into the text box.
If there could be extreme censoring on a description/instructions interface, and limit it to three lines of text. I'm sure we could work within those restrictions. For the most common instructions, those could be multiple choice, such as "Please close all the doors before leaving", or "You are welcome to change the Time of Day", or "Home available for Roleplay events (please respect the COD)", or "There is at least one hidden passage." or "There are '#' hidden passages/locations", There are '#' hidden objects/scenes.", Turn right or left after entering, or start on right or start on left, etc.

Also being brought up is, not being able to search for a house by name. Some houses are actually famous, but the player may not know who owns it, or which house it is in. Being able to search by name would be useful.

Or to search by Theme. I'm sure after everyone has submitted a bunch of houses, there will be a lot of common themes.

On that note, being able to search by description would also help to pin point what a person is looking for.
(( Which brings me back to the guild search menu. People want to search for a guild by name, and yet there isn't an option to.))

Another suggestion that was brought up during the stream is. What if a house could have presets for the interactable items. Like, when there is nobody left inside the house, all the doors, music boxes, lights and every interactable thing goes back to how the house owner had set it.
