seen something weird just now..

has anyone else seen this? i was near a shrine and seen 3 bots run out of the shrine take a few steps and die..then they poof spawn at the shrine run out take a few steps and die again.. and have been doing it for over 30 min now... idk wtf is going on or what the point of it is.

You've discovered a pocket universe operating on ideal mechanics. There are no bugs, and bots don't bother players in that universe; instead they're instantly killed for the entertainment of legitimate players.

I suggest just sitting there and soaking it in for awhile.

I doubt that is the long term solution. Might be a quick fix, or it may just be Zenimax's way to show us they are finding the bots, while providing us with a brief bit of entertainment at the bots' expense.

Ban a bot, they make another account to replace it.

Break a bot program and 1000s of accounts are useless - until such time as the bot designers figure out another workaround. If this is a broken bot program, expect to 'see' mass bannings. Banning accounts individually is not a good use of resources.

Making bots clowning around might be an good way to detect them automatically without risk of banning legit players.

If an monster kills them its probably some players who has pulled an enemy close to the shrine, so they attack the bots in their path.

I've also noticed a few asdijffjs spamming something like "notexist4364887" over and over again in zone chat. Anti-spam software or something?
