What would you like to see removed from Daily Rewards?

1. ALL research scrolls. Is there anyone still researching traits? These are completely useless to most players. I destroy them immediately. They are not a reward but a daily punishment.
2. Crown Store Soul Gems. They just take up space.

    yes people still research traits.
i love getting them for characters that don't have all traits researched yet.
And if i finally get them all researched i will still love getting them for future characters same as with riding lessons.

Crown Soul Gems do take up extra space so it would be better if they were replaced with regular filled Soul Gems instead of removing Soul Gems from daily rewards. free soul gems are useful.

Nothing. I use it all. Crown soul gems let me vendor regular soul gems for a nice little pop of cash (6k per stack of 200). Research scrolls make getting master crafter less of a slog for my alts. Poisons are great in BG's and general PVP.

    Keep both of the above.

    Remove Poisons.

I think they should give ppl a choice on daily login rewards. That would be easy to do.

Personally I'd be happy if the rewards were not 'bound' so that I could at least pass them on to people who need them. Research Scrolls and Riding Skils in particular.

I’d like these added to the currency tab. It’s not impossible I may make a new character some day, I wouldn’t mind them if they weren’t taking up inventory space.

I've got a couple of alts who are just starting research the 8th trait, so researching traits is definitely still a thing and those scrolls don't hang around for long (until they're done with the 9th trait and then they'll just take up space). As for the soul gems, I've got one toon who carries those around. There is no need to spread them since I've got loads of regular ones and I should probably go look at some of those Anchorite scripts now that you've brought that surplus to mind.

About the only thing I can think of which is borderline useless are the Crown Poisons, which only get used whenever there is one of those "afflict x opponents with poisons" endeavors and otherwise take up inventory space. The rest of the login rewards may be useless to me (can you say "body markings"?), but that doesn't mean they're useless to others.
I'm fresh out of outrage, but I could muster up some amused annoyance if required.

I've often wondered whether the plethora of tri-pots and poisons kind of makes dabbling in alchemy kind of pointless.

Also, crown soul gems usually just take up space.

I think you're right when it comes to PvE stuff. PvP'ers seem to love the tri-pots as login rewards, though.

Poisons and crown soulgems are trash.

For everything else I have some use.

Purple potions and purple tri stat food are fine. I use those whenever I'm just doing casual content. The poisons and crown soul gems are just not really necessary. I have way too many stacks of poisons in my bank because I use my weapon enchantments more and the amount of soul gems that drop on the regular or from chests makes me sell stacks of them. Having gems that are bound and cannot be sold while filling up an inventory slot is very annoying.

Agreed. That would make the "this particular daily reward is useless to me" crowd very happy.

I finally have a use for soul gems because of the scribing skill effect that uses them, but it would be nice if the daily reward ones stacked with the regular ones to save space.

Edit: oh yeah and I sort of forgot about the nirnhoned trait so I'm still researching those... so the free research scrolls rewards are useful

They need a choice. With one of the choices being something useful to everyone like inks and upgrade materials.

Research scrolls, poisons, food, and potions. All immediately go into the meat grinder when I get them.
Same with the mount research books, but I understand people who have alts would find those very useful.

I understand it is different for everyone but here is my list of things I instantly delete:
    • Research scrolls (maxed)
    • Training books for mount (maxed)
    • Poisons (glyph enjoyer)
    • Tri food (never used; not to be confused with tri pots)
    • Gems (does not stack with my stack)

I would not go that far. Sure, as the player advances in the game, they become that way, but these rewards are for all players, novices and experienced, alike. Doing it this way is clean, easy, and uncomplicated. ESO needs more clean, easy, and uncomplicated.

The only item that I feel is completely useless is poison, and that is just because poisons are high maintenance compared to the alternatives. I get it if poison is someone's jam, or if they are needed in a specific, but limited, case. There are poisons readily available in the game. I know because I vendor them every day for gold. I feel that we don't need them as a daily reward.

These seem to come up most often. Why not give us a choice? Something like Telvar, AP or even gold? Something everyone could use.
