An issue with the "Seventh Legion" item set...

This item set is not proc'ing off of using the skill {Blessing of Protection} and its morphs. And yes, I'm using the set/skills while in combat.
The item set says "When you cast an ability that increases your physical or spell resistance while in combat..."
The skill {Blessing of Protection} and its morphs says "Also grants Minor Resolve, increasing you and your allies' Physical and Spell Resistance"
So it seems there isn't a reason for this skill not to proc this set, unless I'm missing something.
If it's working properly, can someone explain why that is? And if it's a bug can we please get a fix for this ZOS? Thanks

✭✭✭✭✭have you tried other skills that buff resistance as well? such as resolving vigor, or typical armor skills that give major resolve?
mostly just checking to see if its an issue with the skill interacting with the set, or the set as a whole thats bugged, since you already mentioned trying while in combatplays PC/NA

Nighn_9✭✭✭✭✭Resolving vigor procs seventh legion, but Blessing of Protection doesn't. Both skills have a secondary effect that increases Resistances. If Resolving Vigor procs it, Blessing of Protection should too. The buffs are guaranteed as part of these skills' budgets, not separate procs, so both BoP and Resolving Vigor should activate Seventh Legion. If skills that provide named resistance buffs weren't supposed to activate Seventh Legion, there wouldn't be a realistic way to activate the set (passives, potions, and poisons are explicitly excluded by the devs).
It's likely the interaction between Blessing of Protection and Seventh Legion was just missed.Edited by virtus753 on August 18, 2024 11:11PM1 -
Nighn_9✭✭✭✭✭With all the skills I've used to proc Seventh Legion, it really seems like Blessing of Protection should be able to proc it.
I was making a build where I specifically needed Blessing to proc Seventh and that's how I found out it wasn't working...0
