What exactly is included in ESO Gold Road Collection?

I might want to buy the ESO Gold Road Collection for another account, but i am not sure what i would get.

It says all previous chapters are included. But what does that mean? All DLCs and classes and everything that came before? Or will i still have to buy something extra? Like the necro/warden/arcanist class, imperial race, any race any alliance bundle etc.

It's all a little confusing to be honest.

I'm pretty sure DLCs are not included (as in dungeon DLCs). Those you need to either buy separately or have ESO+.

Dungeon DLCs, zone DLCs, and Orsinium* are not included, just the current and previous chapters-- Morrowind, Summerset, Elsweyr**, Greymoor, Blackwood, High Isle, Necrom, and Gold Road.

    * Orsinium is a zone DLC, but I mentioned it separately because it's sometimes spoken of as having established the overall format of chapters, as if it were the first chapter, but it was available for Crowns in the Crown Store rather than sold outside of the Crown Store as new chapters are.

** The Elsweyr chapter DLC does not include Southern Elsweyr, which is a zone DLC; it is just Northern Elsweyr.

I think you'll have to buy the classes from the crown store, they're removed from the chapters when the chapter becomes a normal DLC when the next chapter releases.

If you read each Chapters description from ESOs own store then you would see that with Gold Road Collection you will only related classes like Arcanist and Necromancer.

You will have to either sub with ESO plus to get access to DLC content or purchase those DLC from Crown Store.

Over time some DLC have been free to add to an active account when there have been events or themes that are related to that DLC (zone).

I assume you are talking about Collection as standard version as some more items will unlock with deluxe verson of Collection.

Sale will soon end, so don't wait too long to decide.

You get the things listed on the store page and nothing else.

    So the included chapters/DLC are:
    Base Game
    Morrowind
    Summerset
    Elseweyr
    Greymoor
    Blackwood
    High Isle
    Necrom
    Gold Road

Any DLC not on that list is not included.

The descriptions for Morrowind, Elseweyr, Necrom state that they include their respective classes, so those are included.

Yeah i don't react well to pressure and fomo. Unclear info about what exactly i would be buying doesn't help either.

I guess i will have to sit this one out.

Thank you all for your help.

It sounds like you're tempted by the discount but trying to convince yourself not to buy it, so that's likely the right choice. Buying something you don't want just because it's cheap is still wasting money.
