I just bit another player and I thought we had to wait seven days to bite another. My timer says 1d 16h 31m 30s. Bug or has this changed?

It resets at a fixed weekly time (Tuesdays I think?). So depending on what day you bite your victim on, you could have a 2 day wait or 6 day wait until your next bite.
