How much Tel Var did you farm during MYM?

Logged in twice and did the dailies, but couldn't really be bothered to do the event this time. PvP is not attractive to me atm, to many sores standing out and spoiling it.

The 0-9999 only options skews the results visually.
there should have been a 0 only option.

And this is is why the numerous forum discussions "IC is dead and needs reworking".

IC is only for the few that farm it and profit off it at a ridiculous rate that you cannot profit off anywhere else in the game, encouraging bad actors and the gameplay it does not offer, discouraging anyone else from going there.

The fact someone can make that much gold off an area of ESO, should be a concern to ZOS, and where that gold is really going.

But let's fight the bots instead.

@ZOS_GinaBruno your community is trying to tell you something that would ultimately benefit the community...

I happen to enjoy going to IC every few days to do all 6 district daily quests. I don't go there to farm TV, and if I'm attacked I'll usually just let the attacker kill me since I'm not there to PvP and try not to carry much TV on me while questing.

And sometimes I enjoy running around in the sewers, fighting each of the stationary bosses, looting treasure chests, and killing the mobs. In that case I'm actually farming TV to an extent, so I try to be more careful about avoiding enemy players.

In any case, in my humble opinion IC is definitely not just for players who are able to farm massive amounts of TV, solo the patrolling bosses, and farm enemy players.

I didn’t farm any. I just did the daily and left. I PvP but don’t really care for IC.

I guess I got some in the RotW coffers but I have no idea how much.

Except for the daily in IC to get the ticket, all other tel var was gained by opening pelinal boxes gained in Cyrodiil.

Around 100k, but I didn't try to farm Tel Var much. I got like 5-8 chars to lvl1-3 and enough AP for the last of my crafting motifs. I shouldn't need to do random dungeons until the Undaunted event.

Side note I put a good dent in finishing/catching up my Cyrodiil sets. Picked up a ton of mats, two mourning dew, and a aetherial dust. Double drops of luminous ink was big, I probably found 200 more of those I don't need. Hopefully those that struggled got the last of their 500. I guess in September there will be another chance.

Considering 'farm' as in 'obtained in IC' though.

We had a guild event in IC during Mayhem; although a lot of tel var was lost (as expected) I went in with 0 tel var and left with +-36k so winning I guess?

Outside that I only got the 200 tel var from the daily and whatever came out of the sizeable amount of pelinal boxes acquired via RftW (which I did not consider 'farming' for the purpose of this poll).

IC is... an acquired taste, and outside guild activities I have no taste for it; I do a daily on a sneaky zoom zoom character (for the merit) and that's about it.

I got about 30k. I'm just not into grinding or doing pvp that much lately. Still wanted to get enough though to build up for cosmetics or hakeijos.

I didn't farm or even play all that much IC compared to previous years. Spent far more time in Cyro. Didn't even bother getting the daily event ticket from IC most days of the event.
Came out with just slightly under 90k. Only banked Tel Var after dying and then went straight back up. Pretty low amount as can farm 70k in an hour non-MYM with a friend or two. Got more in Tel Var value by getting Hakeijo's from the rewards.

Speaking for myself, it goes typically towards perfect roe, potions, motifs, housing, mats, and increasing the number in my bank.
That said I don't farm religiously like many do and go through spurts of it. At night you're basically unchallenged for as long as you're willing to stay up for after beating those who were there farming.

I don't like any of the ticket rewards this year and I had other things to do.

I go only when i need to. Being chased by red zergs for 200 tel var isnt my cup of tea.
