Solarium Bug

Hi Guys,

I don't know if I am the only one with this problem so please let me know.

When I am in the solarium and try to talk to Chronicler Firandil the merchant, my game gets completly stuck.
I have to shut down the game completly via the windows button etc.

And when I go through my inventory when in the solarium I can not look in my supplies it will give een error pop-up or not respond at all when I click on supplies.
It also give an error pop-up when I scroll over the scripts.
It sometimes gets everything stuck.

**edit: So I turned all the addons off and that helps, now the scripts dissapeared when I clicked on them while before it gave me a writ to make or would send me to change my attribute points.
I will try and figure out which addons are doing this.

Funny typo (but who knows where else Firandil spends his time). That aside, no, I have not encountered that bug before and haven't heard anyone talking about it. You might want to submit a bug report to ZOS?

I haven't had any issues of any kind in the Scholarium, not with people, quests, etc.

If you are using gamepad mode on PC, note that there are at least a couple of add-ons/libraries causing this issue.

I turned the Gamepad mode off after the update because it caused my game to go completely messed up.

I do use a controller after I have been logged in the game.

Do you know if addons can cause the problem?

Yes, they can, and certain ones have done so during this update specifically.

To figure out whether your issues are being caused by add-ons, disable all add-ons and libraries (there is a convenient ON/OFF switch at the top of the Settings > Add-Ons menu), reload, and enable gamepad mode again. If it works, the issue is with one of your add-ons or libraries. I know the library from ESO-Hub's pricing add-on and the add-on Controller Tweaks were both throwing errors as of the PC launch of Update 42; they may have been updated since. And there was at least one other add-on causing similar issues, as a guildmate of mine did not run either of those two but was having problems that went away once they disabled all their add-ons.

As a last resort, you can close ESO, move your add-ons folder temporarily, then start the game and try again.

I found it!!!! It took a while but I use the addon Votans Fish filet

I have that one for ages but that is the one doing it for me.
