Better treasure map clues

I asked on reddit if anyone hunted down treasure map locations without assistance (addons, websites, etc), and the response was predictably that almost no one even attempted to do so. Personally, I like hunting down things like this, but even for me, the images these maps give you are just too difficult. Maybe it's because they're images of scenery rather than linguistic clues. I don't know, but I'd like suggest that linguistic clues in the vein of skyshard clues be added to the maps to make it more practical to hunt them down but not as trivial as adding pins on the regular map as was done with skyshards.

I needed one year of playing ESO to realize that there are addOns existing, for the treasure hunting. :D During that year I tried to find them with the maps and/or with help from websites. Indeed, it was "pain in the - popo - " :)
This one has no regrets *Raz

I have vowed to find every treasure map in game with just the hints I get from the map it self is so much fun to explore. Who knows after we are done with the Immersive Quests addon we might start Immersive Treasure Maps :P

On the console, I find treasure maps so much of a pain for so little reward I usually just destroy or sell them. A handful of maps are actually worth something.
