Dark Brotherhood Skill Line Upgrade - Cannot Purchase In Crown Store - Resolved

I am a bit confused over this one in the Crown Store. I have one character that has maxed this skill line to level 12 on 4/20/20. All of my other characters are at different levels of this skill line from level 2 - level 6. I wanted to purchase this to fully advance a character and it says "Requirements Not Met" that I have no characters who have fully advanced this skill line but I do have one.

What else is needed?

    I wonder if you have to complete the storyline, not just farm the rep?

    I'm not 100% sure, but that would be my first guess and check point.

    I just checked to make sure and I have completed the entire storyline on the one character. Quite confused over this. On the character I completed everyone on, if I look at the upgrade in the crown store it says to check other characters in blue. I would expect to see this on the completed character.

    I ran through all of my alts and everyone of them gets the same red message and it will not allow me to purchase an upgrade. :/

    I don't use addons so there is no conflict with those.

    Hm. Just this evening I was idly wondering...

    No character of mine has even started the DB quest line (and they never will). So no one has the skill line. But the Skill Line in the Crown Store doesn't say "Requirements Not Met", and when I click it, I get the purchase window asking if it's for me or as a gift.
    Is that the usual behaviour, and the menu just wouldn't accept my "Confirm" to buy it, or is this some error in the Crown Store?

    Went through my "retired" alts and I have three characters maxed on this skill line. Just saw in zone chat for West Weald others having the same issue. :/

    I also submitted a ticket for the same issue. No contact. There are four days left before this sale expires, so I am hopeful that they fix it before that. It's certainly a strange bug, especially as i just completed the entire quest line and maxed the skill line on my Nightblade a few weeks ago.

    Well I do have their ear but it isn't going anywhere. They keep sending me a copy/paste of directions on how to purchase the skill line from the Crown Store.

    I know HOW to do this. The game will not let me make the purchase.

    @TiverESO01 make sure you submit a help ticket on a purchase error and not feedback. I originally submitted it as a bug and they seem to ignore those.

    Bug/feedback tickets aren’t ignored. They serve a different purpose and follow a completely different path from help tickets. Bug/feedback goes straight to the developers to be categorized and investigated as a game-wide issue. It’s actually good that you submitted one in this case, so the devs know this issue is occurring and can figure out what’s causing it. But these types of tickets by design do not get an immediate and/or personal response. The acknowledgment dialogue box when you submit them in game even says you won’t get a reply back. Only on one occasion have I gotten an email about one of those, and it was an automated reply trying to help with a general problem with endeavors. (It didn’t help.) Otherwise bug/feedback reports are investigated on the back end, and a fix may (or may not) be forthcoming in a subsequent patch.

    Help tickets are for when you need someone from Support to respond directly. Always use one of those when you need assistance for an issue like this (transactions, time-sensitive issues, anything that seems to be wrong with your account specifically that requires intervention, etc.). At first you will likely get a number of replies that are very generic (along the lines of “did you try turning it off and back on?”) or repetition of info you already knew, as you’ve seen. Whenever you get that, reiterate your issue until Support understands the problem requires action on their part. It may take several exchanges to get to that point, and it can be frustrating to have to explain the same thing multiple times, but they have a process they need to go through.

    As a last resort, if you are having significant issues with your experience with Support, Kevin is sometimes able to help if you post your ticket number and tag him here.

    I submitted the feedback to get the devs attention. I then tapped Bethesda Support who suggested a different ticket to get more attention. Hence the purchase error ticket as the game will not allow me to purchase something I have met the requirements for. I also tapped Kevin and Gina with no response and that is when I reached out to Bethesda Support via PM to get some help.

    Rare times I do get replies from the feedback but not often. This is clearly a bug of some kind.

    @ZOS_Kevin @ZOS_GinaBruno Can someone please help with this issue? My ticket is now sitting in "waiting on agent" again after being escalated again. No one has touched it going on two days. The sale ends soon and I was really hoping to purchase the skill line for my alts.

    Do you own DLC,or are you on ESO+?It could be a glitch if you don't own it but using ESO+.I don't have eso+ on a few accounts and all can buy it.

    Yes I own the DLC and I am an ESO+ member. Not sure what is going on and I guess they must not know what the problem is either. :(

    Did you earn it on a ps4 and swapped to a ps5? That maybe the culprit.
