Delete the skill and move on
Radiant Opression scales too hard imo, what i mean is it starts ramping up in dmg too early. You fight 2-3 guys and one of them is a templar and the templar just keeps the beam on you 100%, if you drop to 50-60% hp that beam will cause you to die rather fast.

I took a screenshot of a death recap that showed three people on an opposing team spamming RO at me in unison repeatedly. Not sure how many times total as nothing but RO filled up the recap.
I understand that Templar is in a really undynamic and crappy spot right now, and this is pretty much what’s left for it to do. But I just can’t imagine that anyone finds it that much fun?
Is anyone else noticing this trend on different platforms?
Constant radiant oppression beams are becoming as bad as the Vateshran spammers.

Beam main issue in PvP is the distance. 36+ meters on the strongest undodgable execute in the game is just too much. This is why there is so many beam spammers in PvP lately. Side effect of this is also templar not getting buffs in other areas because he have two abilities (beam and javelin) that are highly abused right now.

Templar best combo with meteor is dark flare, javelin meteor and finally beam. That dark flare hit buffs javelin and beam also adds major defile which helps with beam ensuring it kills the target.

I'd reply but I have to wait until I finish channeling dark flare...

Your right, it is not fun, but its pretty much what the stamina templar has left going for it - strong self-heals, strong defensive capabilities, and one hell of a good execute ability. Magplars have more going for them than stamplars do, but templars in PVP are far less functional with the nerf/animation for jabs.
It used to be that a good way for a templar to win would be to get you on the ground, close the gab, and power of light/jabs/execute you before you could get up, but that power isn't really there anymore. So now we nova drop when we see a big crowd and spam Jesus beam like it was the cure for cancer.
I'd love to go back to the days of wearing malacath's band and being able to do 15k-18k damage to an opponent with 1-2 jabs.
