Separate hireling mail no longer

It was AWESOME before the patch today which mixed hireling mail with trader mail..being on PS, I enjoyed being able to delete after claim, holding down triangle to get all hireling mail at once, and then disabling it again for everything else. The mail changes suck, and the one good thing about it turned out to be a mistake.😑

im actually glad the mail was categorized appropriately, the "claim all" button didnt work for the sales/expired items mails when it was in the system alerts section, as claim all only works on player mail and system mail

For most sellers, it is important to separate the supplier's parcels from the auction letters. The last change brought us back to the beginning. It was very convenient, now it's bad again

I'm also glad the trading mails are in the correct category now.

My takeaway from this thread:

Wait, what? There's a "claim all" option? I don't know why I never noticed that and used it!

Edit: Wait, do you mean claim all attachments on the currently-opened mail message? For some reason I thought you were saying we could claim all attachments from all available mail messages in one fell swoop, but I guess that would be too prone to "mistakes."

From the v10.0.5 (Gold Road and update 42) patch notes:

Added a new “Take All” button to the mail screen.
This button claims all attachments from all mail in the current active category (Player Mail or System Mail).

Mail is processed based on the currently sorted order and starts with the mail soonest to expire.

Note that Player Mail and System Mail have different sorting rules, explained above.

COD Player Mail and Customer Support mail are not affected by “Take All”.

If an attachment is unable to be claimed for any reason, such as unavailable inventory space, the process halts and no further attachments are claimed.

Note the “Delete After Claim” option, if enabled, applies to every System Mail affected by “Take All” that no longer has an attachment.

Awesome! I'll definitely be using that option from now on to save time while cycling through my alts to get their mail.

You mean daily mats feeds? You could gather all those on a single character. You don't have to collect on each alt, just login on each alt.

oh, I was wondering why when I claimed all mail, that included sold items.
I too liked seeing what I sold without having to worry it'd get deleted.

I used the claim all and delete and it didn't touch my guild trader sales or expired listings returns, only the hireling mail.

I preferred them separate, 2 of my accounts no longer have ESO+ and struggle for space, if they run out of space before collecting all the hireling mails, a few minutes after they exit the mail they get booted from the game. At least if they were separate I could collect the mail from the guild trader sales.
