Over an hour in queue for Battlegrounds

Why is it taking so long again for Battlegrounds? This keeps happening where group queues are taking forever. Me and a friend can solo queue at the exact same time, get into the same battleground within a minute or so, but we end up on different teams. We group queue, and its been over an hour of trying to get in. This happened last week as well, but yesterday we were able to do it on repeat all day no problem.

The MYM is starting tomorrow. I think that has brought a lot of PVPers into the game for the week. I've noticed things do seem to be different this week.

ok...but then why the long queues? It seems bugged, especially when we can solo queue very quickly and get into the same match every single time.

BG queues are always worse if your are not queuing either solo, or as a group of 4

the fastest queue time will always be solo
the 2nd fastest queue time is in a group of 4, this queue can take between 5-15 minutes depending on time of day usually
a queue with 2 players is slower, this can easily start taking 30+ minutes
a queue with 3 players is the slowest, ive been in some cases where ive sat in a 3 person queue for over an hour and half with no queue pop

most of the reasoning is it limits who you can group with that is currently in queue

a solo can group with anyone not in a 4 person group
a 2 person group can only get grouped with another 2 person group, or 2 solos
a 3 person group can only get grouped with solos
4 person is already a full group, but could get matched against any other combination of 8 players that would form the other teams

Seems broken...especially when we get queued into these matches and we can see the comp of each team and not see a single reason why we cant get in as a duo together instead of 2 solos. Again...some days its perfectly fine and works well...then there are days like today where its impossible to get in.

Happens in random dungeon queues as well.

If you don't make que in 5 mins. Leave and rejoin. It's been a bug for ages.

Pretty sure I figured out the issue. ZOS was working on my account while I was playing and their support completely botched up my account.

Asked for a refund for one item...they went through and erased years worth of crown purchases and told me I need to repurchase them because I paid for one month of ESO+. WTF?!

There aren't as many other duo groups in queue. That's also the reason solo queue is faster - more solo players.

Why not queue us up with other solo players? We join into matches solo where one team only has 2 people with them the entire match where we could have joined them. Happening a lot actually where you get matches with unbalanced teams, some happening because people get an infinite loading screen to get into the battleground and have to restart the game.

Is it stated anywhere in writing from ZOS how the match making system works?

Premade groups vs solo players is completely unbalanced. I'm going to guess that's why they don't mix up the queues.
