Event Tickets - Let's add more variety please? Ideas welcome!

Probably just me but the last event we had after getting the new styles and I think a tattoo or something(Cannot recall) there was just nothing to spend event tickets on besides companion guild skill line increases, group armour repairs and a few other odds and ends that just really weren't worth messing with. This has been the case for a while now but for LOOOONNG events by day 4 or 5 there's just nothing worth obtaining with tickets.

You'd think with all the endless variety of items to obtain this game that something useful could be added to events.

Whoever is in charge of events at ZoS please favourite this post so you can refer back to it lol!

Now for some ideas other than a complaint!
Tri-pots
Crafting mats, Kuta's, Chromium, etc
Maybe an event related monster helm or something that normally comes from an event related zone

Anyone else?

Unless you've been on the ball for every event for the past 6 years there should be something for you to play catch up on with tickets.

Indrik Vendor with the various mounts/non combat pets.
The assistant with fragments from yesteryear.
Buying bags of yesteryear for missing items.
Prepping more fragments for the eventually use of the morph-pet.

Keep in mind the events only give away cosmetic items, so adding anything other than cosmetics would be a major departure from the current design, adding in anything that can be seen as giving anyone an advantage would bring a certain crowd out of the woodwork.

They definitely need more stuff to buy, with multiple things at every price point from 1 to X, where X is the number of event tickets that can be obtained every day.

I got tired of the Commendations, which I may never use, and just throw the excess event tickets in the bin. I got every style page from the quest prize boxes, although, that was not a goal. The goal was "12 event tickets", and I think the lowest I was at going into the event was 11 on PC EU.

There were quite a lot of requests for the event furnishings to be added to the ticket store. Some of the ones from the Zenithar event I would have really liked and I had tickets to spare. I had to keep spending some on group repair kits and I really don't need any more of those!

They need to either remove the cap of 12 tickets or add more stuff to the store. Long-term players such as myself end up with nothing else to spend them on.
RIP Atherton, my beautiful little gentle friend. I will miss you forever. Without you I am a hollow shell.

    Here's what would happen:

    - zos adds more event ticket items
    - players who don't play every day get stressed because they can't buy everything with event tickets and demand more event tickets
    - zos starts issuing more event tickets or extending events
    - players who play every day end up with excess event tickets and again demand more items
    - cycle repeats

I think there's enough rewards and there's so many events I end up with event fatigue.

This is an interesting case for simply discontinuing the event tickets...

Tripots would be cool to add. As someone who has been able to keep up with everything every event has offered so far, I often end up burning tickets towards the end of events on the group repair kits. But tripots would be a far better choice.

As long as the only things they were to add would be consumables of some kind. Anything more than that just further spreads out the purchasing power of the tickets for unique items. The extra stuff they add to buy should be things that are generally not missed if you don't have the tickets to spend on them.

I love that we earn way more tickets than is needed throughout the year. Means I can skip events that don't interest me. There's only so many times I can repeat Jesters and New Life.

Likewise, it means those PvE folks whom intensely dislike Whitestrakes can chill and skip it if they do so desire and they don't miss out on anything.

Current system of over supplying event tickets through the year is a thumbs up from me.

I had no idea there was an Indrik Vendor. You mean you can use event tickets there?

Yes, and it has a seasonal stock of 2 Specific Indriks and 2 Non-Combat Indrik pets and the always available Nascent Indrik.

    https://en.uesp.net/wiki/Online:Nenulaure

Nascent Indrik costs 20 tickets; Seasonal Indrisk cost 40 Tickets and eat the Nascent Indrik; making each full Seasonal Indrik cost 60 tickets. Add in a matching non-combat pet and you've got 70 tickets per quarter for that to play catch up with.

No. I'm not done with indriks yet. One more to get on 3rd account both PC NA and EU; 5 to get on 4th account PC NA and EU.

More furnishings would be nice. Each Halloween particularly I'm hoping for more little ghoulish goodies. 🎃 I'd love to see the various animal skulls we see scattered around Tamriel added.

I like that there's more than enough tickets to get all the new items, it allows room for people who can't play every day to still get them. Add in the older stuff and consumables and I think there's plenty of rewards.

Although if you've run out of things to spend tickets on there's also no harm in letting the tickets be lost or skipping the required activity on some days.

Yeah, I already skip Whitestrake's Mayhem, Guilds and Glory, and Undaunted. I'm also not much on the specific zone ones outside of Blackwood, High Isle, and Gold Road. I really have enough event burn-out with the four "major" ones....

It's also possible to run out of items to buy with event tickets even if you don't have all items of a particular type, e.g. I have a nascent indrik and 2 of the evolved indriks, and that's all I want in my collection, because (to me, at least) the other indriks just look like reskinned copies.

i think it would be OK if they added more consumable options, such as tripots or the like

i have little use for the guild commendations, or companion commendations

stuff similar to the group repair kits i think is what the OP is asking for

i would support stuff like that, not additional collectible items

increase the cap of transmutes from 1000 to 1200-1500, have a vendor that sells past years style pages for 500-1000 transmutes, or something outfit related for transmutes.
idk. just to have something else to dump transmutes into instead of reconstructing set items I don't need and wasting mats / destroying new ones would be great since it's bound

Some cash shop only furnishings related to the event theme would be welcome. They do this for the Witches Festival, and I'd appreciate seeing it done during other festivals so that I could spend my extra tickets on something that feels more rewarding, while still carrying the event theme.

I think the consumable options are a good idea as well, I'd just personally like a few items that are more permanent in nature.

Yes, they had some crown Alinor and (I think) Imperial furnishings in the past. I would love to see more of that.

Basically whatever is fit for the endeavors store, could be an event ticket item.

But it's variation in the events themselves, I'd like.

I've done new life twice, I'm highly unlikely to do that all again.

Agreed. The event with the Imperial furniture was awesome because you can't craft those. I also like the idea of the event decor items being available with tickets.

    +1 Event Furnishings.

I also would like to see the option to buy (curated, BOUND) motif (not style!) books or pages from existing motifs. They can be limited to motifs that fit the event, for example the Undaunted Celebration would have any Dungeon-specific pages available in that scenario. Even if I fill out all the collectable fragments and max out my main on motifs I will always have an alt or two who will have some missing motifs, and I suspect I’m not alone there, so it would be a viable use of overflow tickets without being a requirement to max out event participation. I don’t think it will meaningfully impact guild trader sales, because I suspect most would rather spend gold than tickets, and newer players would be focused on finishing all their collections. (And if it’s limited to event-themed motifs…those were probably going to tank anyway, from the masses of people running the content.) The style pages we already have don’t really work for overflow tickets because they’re once per account, limiting the number of tickets that can be spent on them.

Make event tickets convertible into seals of endeavour. 1:100 ratio ;)

Also, since we have group repair kits it would be interesting to see some other group consumables. Like: 1k increase of max resource for you and up to 11 allies for 1 hour.

I just caught up on all the Indiriks! I'm sure I've missed some things to get, so bringing any of the old items/collectibles back would be great. I believe I'm thinking of the giant pile of treasure that was available at a Dragon even in 2019? I missed out on this. I am all up on wanting some furnishings!
